  1. A somewhat new Israeli study also showed 3 shots of Pzifer reduced the risk of getting long covid, so it's also important which vaccines you get.

We're all interested in not ending up in hospital which all the vaccines are good at preventing, but if we can minimize the risk of getting long covid, that's a plus in the book too.

Thankfully omicron BA.2 are almost 100% dominant in Denmark so that lowers the risk even more, when we don't have to worry about Delta.

My girlfriend just got it last week after dodging the bullet 2 years and only had minor symptoms for a few days and is back at work again.

Positive Monday, a bit sore throat and running nose for 3 days.

    Nothing else.

I didn't get it even if we spent all days together prior to her symptoms and positive test.

vapes don't make smoke, just water, theres barely any smell, 1000 times better than ciggies and cigars

It totally depends what kind of flavor they use.

    Some flavors are seriously annoying.

Vanilla flavor is one of the discord i hate most. That sweet smells stays forever and i can smell it a mile away.

    Legalize vaping for sure.......

    But been all flavors.

My girlfriend vapes and I'm glad that she changed from regular cigarettes many years ago.

She just use the liquid with nicotine and no flavors added, so there is no smell at all.

The only thing that annoys me are her vaping equipment which makes small clicks each time she inhales.

Many years ago I was touring in Sweden with a few mates, and we were staying in a forest lodge for a couple of days. We decided to have a snack and a couple of beers and the "landlady" brought us some bottles of Tuborg Special. I have had Carlsberg Special before, which is strong, but this stuff was almost hallucogenic! One guy thought there was a pack of wolves surrounding our lodge, andf it turned out to be the landlady exercising her Alsatian dogs. We had a fabulous time! ????

We got a special brew in Denmark called Keine Hexerei that is 19% (ordinary Tuborg is like 4,6%)

and if you drink 4 or 5 of those there is a chance that it's not just wolves you will see ????

    It hit like a hammer.

I hope the Ukrainians take out as many of the Russian invaders as they can.  ????

When i watch the news it seems like the Ukrainian troops are no where to be found.

Instead i see a lot of locals training with wooden weapons.

That's not going to kill a lot of Russians, so i think your hope is dead and buried.

Before he goes all in, he should look at the opponent's stack of chips.

Not looking good for Putin, and if he runs even lower on chips, his sponsors might pull the plug and insert another player at the table.

A player can always be replaced and Putin knows that.

He is playing the most important pot in his life, and a wrong move could send him to his Waterloo.

  6. The positivity rate are not always an indication of to few tests being done.

During most of the pandemic here in Denmark we were below 5%, and tested most per million in the world.

So that gave us a good indication of the real numbers.

Omicron totally messed that up and we're now at positives % near 30% the last week.

    https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/positive-rate-daily-smoothed?tab=chart&time=2020-04-16..latest&country=~DNK

That's because so many are infected and we changed the guidelines for PCR testing.

Now you're just supposed to take a test if you have symptoms or close contact with a person tested positive, so now it's a more targeted group that get tested.

We also dropped all restrictions and that means no need for negative tests anymore for the unvaxed, for them being able to visit restaurants and such.

So that's a large group that stopped testing several times a week, which also narrows the target group.

We're still testing approx 40 times more than Thailand per million, so our daily numbers of positives are still a lot closer to the truth compared to Thailand.

But this mass testing is extremely expensive and they are talking about dropping the mass PCR testing.

After omicron arrived and omicron BA.2 sub variant is almost 100% dominant, we really don't need the data to show if 1000 or 100000 is infected each day.

We can look at the daily data for those in ICU instead, and that's not worrying even if we still have HUGE numbers of positives.

Thailands 610 admissions to ICU are higher than it's supposed to be so i would assume they still have a lot of Delta cases.

If all in ICU are omicron something is not right.

Does Thailand have a statistic showing which variant the ones in ICU are tested positive for?

Just goes to so the ignorance of these fools.....or does it? Create fear in the people, tell them that Omicron needs to be controlled even though global data is quite clear that it cannot be controlled and they think this will justify a continuance of the State of Emergency. This is purely political not medical or scientific.

    Thai youth are that stupid.

In these globalized times they know what is going on in other countries, and in a month or two they will see a Europe/world with no or very few restrictions and start wondering why they still have to deal with restrictions, when it's the same virus they battle.

I don’t think Thailand has the testing capacity to see rapidly increasing cases as in other countries or even if it has, it has no inclination to utilize it. Agree, once peaked it should then follow other countries in decline.

I think Thailand should increase their testing by at least 10x.

Not so much to find positive cases because we know they are there, but to find out how many has delta and how many has omicron, and to get some realistic data, they need to test A LOT more.

When omicron are almost totally dominant, they can drop all their testing except for certain people and those admitted to hospitals.

Sweden is dropping their tests now and just tell people to stay home when sick.

Denmark which is the country that tested most during the entire pandemic drop the quick tests march 6 and they are now talking about decreasing PCR tests too.

No need to keep spending 2 billion danish kroner (10 billion baht) each month on tests when we know it's omicron BA.2 that's almost 100% dominant.

We also decreased the restrictions in Denmark for positives with omicron, so now if you get tested positive with omicron you can actually go back to work 5 days later even if you still have mild symptoms.

And no need for negative tests anymore after infection.

Omicron really changed the game plan.

    So Thailand.

Test A LOT more for a few weeks and find out if Delta is gone or not.

If it is, no reason to keep same strict rules.

Learnt to live with it, but make sure omicron is dominant.

Just thinking, hope this new recreation law allows for the reggae bars to spring up again. Anyone remember in the mid 90s they were everywhere, some great ones on the beach pumping out Bob Marley at all hours. Coffee shops are too intellectual, Thailand did reggae bars so well. Happy days.

Before covid those reggae bars were still alive on koh Samui and Koh Chang and i can imagine on a lot of other islands too.

Not so many as before, but still enough to cover the need for space cakes and joints if you are into that thing.

I'm not, but i just like the chilled atmosphere at those places and like to get a beer or ten there, while having a game of killer if possible.

Never experienced any problems at those places, so it's not like stoned people are famous for bar brawls.

Here in Denmark cannabis is classified as class A drug along with heroin and opium, but the authorities still let it go most of the times if people only carry a gram or two for their own consumption.

You can still get fined or worse, but most of the times they let you go.

It all depends what kind of cop you meet.

We have a place in Copenhagen that is famous for selling hash.

    Christiania Freetown.

Not my kind of place but it's there.

    Look.

Bottom line supplementing with D is affordable, not likely to hurt you, and may well help you a lot.

    So why not?

But if you choose 4k iu or more research why you should balance with K.

Doses that high without K could hurt you cardiovascularly.

When you look at the articles/studies at K2 vitamins, you find a lot of different ones, with a lot of different conclusions.

The sale of K2 vitamins suddenly shot through the roof approx 10 years ago

and since then a lot of articles has been written about the K1 and K2 vitamins.

Let's just say not all agree if it's good or not.

    It's a jungle out there.

So i as a layman has no clue if K2 is good or not, but i use the 4000 IU D3 vitamin with 100 mcg K2 added in same pill.
