i really cant be bothered to get into a rant with you thieving scumbags , but the satisfaction achieved in amassing a fortune comes from the sense of self achievment and not ripping of money from others. the money taken from a bank is ultimately taken from all the little savers who slog away all their lives. your robin hood analogy is so far off the mark and further confirms to me that your skull is full of <deleted>.
I call getting 2 Million pounds Tax free, then doing 2 years in an open nick getting good food, Fresh country air, brushing up on the Bowls skills, achieving your highest ever break at snooker, and getting good at Table Tennis again , quite a good self satisfying achievment.
One should be in a good state of health when coming out to enjoy the 2 million pounds.
Or would I work in ASDA filling shelves for enough money to pay my rent every month, and a few pints down the local, working till I am 65 then drop dead of boredom ?

I went to school with bloke who embezzled 2million from a pension scheme - he did two years then dissapeared - the money was never found.
Now tell me you wouldn't do that.
2 years in an open prison for 2 Million Pounds, ummmm, that's nearly 150 Million Baht..........

I would do it.
P.S. I would do 2 years in Bang Kwang for the same money also. British prisons are better than some of the dives I have paid to stay in over the years, and you get well fed.

I am actually think of leaving too. Due to Thai culture, This country is very zenaphobic. The Thai culture needs to be reformed and they need to stop brain washing the school children with the Thai culture.
What other culture would you suggest Thai people follow, Ancient Egyptian ?

Guy walks into a Bank with an unloaded Gun, grabs 300 Pounds and runs out, is identified on security Cameras, gets caught a week later and is charged with Armed Robbery and gets 12 years imprisonment.
Our bloke here gets multiple unsecured bank loans and bumps the credit card companies and amasses 150,000 Pounds , clears off, has a blast, goes back 7 years later and says he is suffering from Alcoholism and Drug Addiction, and that he done those things while he was under the influence of Drink and Drugs.
He will immediately get Government help with his bogus addictions and will soon be able to claim Social Security, then have a miraculous recovery, get a job, and carry on as usual. His Sentence = he cannot get a credit card or a bank loan again
I bet he would not do 1 day in Jail.
And even if he did, he would be a Fraudster, a Catagory D prisoner, they go to nice places like HMP Ford, beautiful open prison in Arundel, Sussex. Bowling Green, Cricket Team, Football Team ( George Best once played for them ), your own room ( with key ), Great food, Nursery, Open Gates..............

Any place is no place to be in you run short of money. Personally I'd rather run short of money in sunny Thailand than in miserable Europe, at least the north of it.
Meom, obviously you have never been skint in Thailand.
No government handouts here to pay the rent and bills and buy food and free bus pass and free education and free medical and a pension at the end of it.
If you have no money, Europe is the place to be, especially countries like UK, I have not noticed thousands of Albanian refugees flooding into Thailand for the sunshine.

I think his site is like a lot of sites about Thailand, a complete waste of time and boring, fuelled by Trolls and old cynical losers. But if a guy has not been to Thailand or knows little about Thailand, someone may think they are learning something.

Simbo, most people would prefer Thai prison to Japanese prison.
Japanese prison system is constantly under pressure from Amnesty International to change its procedures.

At the end of the day...............Disgruntled went home because he did not want to stay anymore. He was unhappy, now maybe he can find somewhere that suits him better.
That is the great thing about having a Farang Passport, anytime you have had enough, you can pack up and leave to somewhere that you do like.
Most Thai people are not in that privilaged position, many Farangs are.
All I know is this, if I did not like a country, then I would not stay, unless I had a well paid job to do. I know people here in Japan that moan about Japan, but some are Earning good money, ( Not English Teachers )10 - 15,000 US Dollars a month, so they put up with it cos of the financial gain involved.
But a guy struggling to survive in Thailand, who is then complaining about Thailand baffles me, why not just leave to pastures new, or you will get all bitter and cynical like so many of the old timers who just have not got the energy or heart to move on anymore.
I admire Disgruntled for leaving and attempting to make his life happier. Those that continue to stay and continue to complain should have the balls to do what Disgruntled done.
Simple as that.

Loei is very nice, Kiwi James lives a few Kms from Phu Kradung, I also have land in the same place. It is a very very nice area, fuxing freezing cold water though!!
Hot shower is a must in the Winter months, they heat water for me in a big metal bowl...................too cold to shower for a delicate soul like me otherwise.
I am going up the mountain ( Phu Kradung ) in the New year, I will take some temperatures and some pictures and post them in the members photo gallery.
That area is really nice.
