  1. Yes, medicines also a good example, I take medicines for high blood pressure, you have to take them continuously, daily. But what do they do, they put 28 in a box. Why not 30 or 31.
  2. The biggest problem in this country is that there is no competition, they can do with prices, c.g. packaging what they want, they don't have to try that in Europe, there we have Lidel/ Aldi, etc. There are no more than 3 companies controlling the market, now including Makro.
  3. When you have a headset with noise canceling over the ear, I'm sure it will help sufficient.
  4. Yes i manage the problem, when you look to the print 'RV.2, the connector is located at the other side, on the print side you will see the solder-joints, and it was there the red wire pressure on the joint through the wire insulation. Everything is working as normal again.
  5. found the problem today, it was in the safty-cut itself after all. Opened the module and in it the red wire in particular was pressed on the connector, which if you pressed on the whole STC made the unit trip.
  6. That's true it don't trip with the RCBO removed, that what you sugest one by one, I had started with that, and no without the RCBO section everything is working now. Because it's dark now, tomorrow I'll place back the module but it looks like a bad contact, I dont have to push the yellow test switch but it happens when I touch the RCBO module.
  7. This afternoon I suddenly experienced problems with total power failure in my huose. When plugging in a battery charger, the Safe-T-Cut jumped out. Nothing special you might say, initially I thought of the charger but every time the STC switched off. Then you think of something more serious, like a boiler I have in the attic, or at least a ground fault. But nothing of the sort. It seems to be the STC itself, it consists of 2 parts, I only found out today, and if you press the modular part, it switches off. So got this one out for now, with the necessary risks, I am aware of that, but my question is if anyone recognises this problem.
  8. In my opinion, that is not a solution but displacement of the problem. Same with street dogs, people don't want to solve it.
  9. "Normally Thai people do not donate land that has some value ... " Ha, ha, 'Normal' foreign people do not that either. Or you?
  10. "But I guess that is what you get on any tourist boat. " Don't forget to mention the Thai people by themself.....
  11. A good example regarding my comment about being too old for modern cars happened to my ex, she bought a VW T-cross with all the trimmings, but there were quite a few complaints, among others I noticed when I was waiting outside, that when she put the car in reverse, the boot lid handle opened halfway. When we told this to our son, he started laughing....it is the camera that pops up when you put the car in reverse, at least 1 less complaint. Although with my Isuzu, it doesn't happen when I shift into reverse.
  12. Maybe we are to old for this modern cars, for example I owns a Isuzu MUX with camera's in front to keep automatic distant, it also helps in the event of an emergency stop. But it also sees danger that is not actually there , so if you don't have your seatbelt on you will be sitting with your head through the windscreen. My solution is all cameras painted black with nail polish, I'll decide for myself with 60 years of driving experience wheter or not I should stop.
  13. Instant ordered, I'll let you know the results... But I use it in a espresso machine, and it is not possible to order beans. Including sending 272 thb.
  14. It's not bad, after all there are too many of us living on this planet.
  15. I've got this many years ago, and it went wrong with administering the anaesthetic, I turned out to be allergic to 'dormicum'. It's a warning.
  16. They have never heard concerning downshifting. They are not taught either. Even an automatic allows you to downshift, but yeh...this is Thailand.
  17. I agree with you, many years ago already, I've got flashes in my eyes and went to the Bangkok/Phuket hospital, in 10 minutes they told me it was a retina eyes. I was very surprised, but they send me to the same hospital in BKK because the retina had to be reattached by lasering, and at the time this was not possible on Phuket. Also that time done for a reasonable price, unlike today.
  18. Glad te hear, do your best, and see you soon again.
  19. But the question is: are 'aseannow'coming back?
