  1. Understandable addition. Well done. Thanks!

    Posted 17.12.2012 00:04

Personally, I enjoyed watching the first video in this thread. The deep sea oil tanker apparently carries quite a large PCB on deck while fighting its way through large sweeping waves. My warmest regards go out for all families of which one or more of the family members for whatever reason have gone but never returned home up to and today. The present given to our (old male) Dutch Minister of Defense Hans Hillen contained two boobies trapped by simply lifting the head of the newest (young female) Minister of Defense slightly above crowd level. Dutch Minister Timmermans of Foreign Affairs who likes thinking in terms of human lengths will be jealous.Whether or not this “please go away present” is disgusting false humor or not from the highest political level in the Netherlands is for the reader to decide. Try to look at following picture with your eyes a little bit closed like the Chinese are used to do (in Dutch “oogjes ‘n beetje toe knijpend"):

Here’s a video showing a scale Lego model container vessel. I do like the music, especially the heavy deepness of sound at its beginning and its lyrics hopefully on their way to an uncle in America.

Between Christmas and New Year, no, no, not New York, the Dutch banker Mr. Gerrit Zalm of ABN should practice building these vessels before leaving ABN to join Shell at the first of January 2013. My advice to another Dutch wonder-child, Mr. E.T., first to watch one of the videos in another thread of this newsgroup before upgrading his own position to president of KLM at that very same day. Hope the right planes keep on flying, not the Messy space-time curved ones. One of the vessels in space of the size of Marco Polo, which’s carrying many containers, is currently entering the port of Rotterdam:

Oh dear... the new page of oppurtunity may've tricked me.

How to change X to Y? Quite simple actually.

    Change title to:

Y for X For Firm X in new window of opportunity launched by Mr. B.S. (Mr. Big Spender) in Year X:

    Pfff...

Glad not to have lost time on 11-12-2012 14.00 hours and not to have lost location on 12-12-2012 13.00 hours (local Dutch times). Don't worry my memory still serves me well. Reminds me of Mr. C's router...

    Please go on with Z....

So my contribution looks as follows.

Y For X for Firm X in new window of opportunity launched by Mr. B.S. (Mr. Big Spender) in Year X: (Godfrieds B. of Bomans criterium translates this into Y For Year).

    Y For Year:

    Cheers!

  4. W for Wiring:

    Wire.jpg

Note: on specific days carrying a lot of [different] sentiments I find this picture related to Double U (W of wiring) much easier to position in the context of technology (progress) than previous picture related to the single U which is also related to the same context (for draining large amounts of water as quick as possible)... whistling.gif

  5. Here's the official UK subtitled trailer version (dated 28th of June 2012):

Had to wait quite some time for the full version to arrive somewhere on the internet, but here it is (don't know for how long...):

copy this link into freeware program available here for downloading and watching (legally) aired documentary V.I.S.S.E.N., dated the 8th of December 2012.

Size of VISSEN [20121208].wmv equals 2.19GB, having a video length of 01.30.00). It’s in Dutch. No subtitles!!!.

Available DVD which can be found via the youtube page above mentions the presence of both Dutch and English subtitles.

  6. Want to buy a few relative cheap but accurate GPS logging devices (tracking not needed) to be handed over to more experienced Thai drivers in my village for letting them automatically register their most favorite route.

Suppose European GPS logging devices are also able to communicate (via the same protocol) to multiple satellites positioned above Thailand?

Are these devices suitable for actually registering long distance routes (life of battery, size of memory)?

  7. According one of my family members on at least one spot (approx. 50 km south of Bang Pakong, close to the Gulf of Thailand) quite some competition is going on. Here's a recent picture:

    Fishing+spot.jpg

A walk over water may be more successful here than not to catch one of these.

  8. Allow me to ring a Bell. Concepts of time and memory are cognitive inner speech products of human minds generated by our most basic bodily learning mechanisms here and now. It is quite an old cave we live in and present our paintings. Current theatre does not really differ from the ones in the past and the future. Recently a contemporary philosopher sound of mind from the London School of Economics said the timeline of technology is quite different, a straight line, but I wonder if that can be true at all. I hate to disappoint him. Also modern inventions are representations of early ones of which many are found in the first half of the first half of previous century. I really miss one of the gipsy ladies from the early 60s who may have polished many foggy crystal balls of others. She must have crossed the line somewhere. She never returned.

  9. This week update 01.12.2012.

After having listened to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (on

), House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner (on
) and having followed a discussion about a proposal of e.g. the CEO of Goldman Sachs (on Wednesday 28-11) an interesting questions popped up in my mind: who’s actually running this show?

Regardless the correctness of the content presented, Cenk Kadir Uygur of TYT knows how to package his answers as always in a stand-up [“to the president?”] comedian style using most enjoyable subtitles:

Uygur reminds me of the political aspirations of Chuwit Kamolvisit (1961) in Thailand who also seems to know how to run a show. Will Chuwit succeed in transforming Thailand into one big beauty parlor?

Basic question is a big question: does the universe have a purpose?

While searching the universe for answers I stumbled across following you-tube video featuring Neil deGrasse Tyson (1958) in which a person draws, yes, a cliff, during the first 20 seconds. This video is dated 27.11 and has had many viewers (subtitles can be changed to English):

Additional questions to be added to our future history books for some of the guys “parked” [be]low:

    - Who do you think were the real taxpayers in times of slavery?

    - What are tax slaves and exactly how were they created?

    Mae+Fah+Luang.jpg

    Enjoy the picture!
