OMG!!! 30 million total doses- some will be for a two dose regimen, some as 1 dose boosters. Of the 30 million, an unknown number, at least 2,000 will be the monoclonal antibody to give to very sick patients. 2 million will be given to children. Unfortunately, there is good science to support the idea that teenagers only need 1 dose of mRNA vaccine to achieve adequate antibody levels. But you can rest assured policies are decided by politicians, not scientists, so 1 million children will miss out. PS. I am not pro- or anti- vaccine, just a reporter.

Abbot Panbio Covid 19 Antibodies IgG/IgM Rapid Test. If you have IgM then you probably have current infection. If you have only IgG you have had prior infection, but unknown how long ago.

Positive, Useful & Encouraging.
Could just say “Prisoners” though …….how many Brits are there & how long detained / imprisoned ?
mean “bereaved UK Citizens” ?
request Thai Care Home Brits statistics ….appears a largely unreported but significant issue.
request numbers on uninsured Hospital Brit Cases …..with breakdown by Illness / Injury….
You can see my limited Diplomatic skills.
Rest assured I am a resident conservative Brit not some bothersome Russian Troll……. !
I will in any case research myself the above requests, thanks for prompting this belated Interest !
Really, your request must be for some academic reason, as wanting to know breakdown by illness/injury is so beyond ridiculous, for what ends?

And once we reach "70 %".... what do you think will happen ? What will Thailand do ?
Is this a "magical number" ?
For an answer, you might have a look at the Covid situation in Israel, the UK, USA, and many other countries etc.
It seems that Covid does not care... The problem : we oversold this "vaccine promise" to the whole world.
People, especially in Asia, are going to be disappointed.
And probably upset.
Many reliable sources have upped the ante to 85% -90% for herd immunity.

10:00-11:00 - Over 50 yrs age Tickets Only (YOB 1971 or earlier)
Only one ticket is allowed per person
This vaccination is for expat foreign residents NOT migrant workers from Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos. Migrant workers will be vaccinated under a separate program.
In order to reduce waiting times for yourself and others, please could you:
1) Pre-register with Wall of Chiang Mai, if you have not already done so at: https://reboot.chiangmaihealth.go.th/CMCVR/ and note your 13 digit ID number.
2) Print out your Wall of Chiang Mai registration details and bring this document with you.
If you have already registered and need to print the document or check your 13 digit ID number, please go to: https://reboot.chiangmaihealth.go.th/CMCVR/p_check.php and enter your Passport Number after which your ID number will appear and an option to print the document can be found at “Your COVID-19 vaccination form”.
3) Do not forget to bring to the vaccination your:
- Passport
- Eventbrite E-ticket to the vaccination
- 13 digit ID number and printed copy of your Wall of Chiang Mai registration form
- Expatvac registration response.
Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office would like to emphasize that this vaccination is only for individuals who have not previously been vaccinated. Registrations will be checked and fraud will lead to ineligibility for all future vaccinations from the Royal Thai Government.
All guidelines at the vaccinations will be strictly enforced, and customers eligible for vaccination must comply with the above criteria. Individuals who do not comply will be turned away and asked to wait for a later date.

Assuming this is from CMPHO and this is an official statement, it does appear to be generated from a USA site that is not aware of limitations here in CM to comply- specifically in several places it says to print out one's information, but in CM this is at best an inconvenience. Most people do not own a printer, and many print shops are closed- Buddy's Internet Shop is open across the street from Kad Suen Kaew mall. I have worked with CMPHO at many vax sites at McCormick Hospital and it was never required anyone printout their info. So, if it was me I would disregard this part.

I address this to foreigners who have received their second Pfizer shot; What information was on your certificate? Name, of course. But any other specifying information such as passport number. I will be needing this for work purposes in America, as possibly others returning to their countries may require also.

According to the numbers in the story, it would be (4,963 + 12,742) = 17,705 long stayers so far. Thai nationals who've spent time abroad are usually wealthier than their domestic counterparts.
Of course, what you say about the TAT's predictions is spot-on.
The only people I know who used the Sandbox was part of the extended royal family who had made a vaccination trip to US.

So in a month we get to watch all of this play out again as Chiang Mai opens. I wish the doctors had the spine to stand up to the politicians in CM and say, "STOP!!! Get a plan for 85% herd immunity and find a way to control passage into the province." But won't happen.

This was NOT honest, and this was a huge degree of malfeasance, not a mild mistake. It is all about enforcing the status quo, the continued refusal to go after the super rich, and an astonishing bit of corruption.
Likely the reason Interpol ignored the red notice, if it was ever even requested, which many of us doubt. Sorry to inform you, Prayuth. But when you run a nation built upon a foundation that only protects the elite, the super wealthy, those that are well connected, those in power, the corrupt amongst the police, immigration and customs, and a spectacularly corrupt army, and then you reach out to nations that observe the rules of law and order for help, you get ignored, scorned, and ridiculed. Nobody is listening to you these days, much less Interpol. You are NOT a serious man. 98% of Thailand knows this, and most of the world does too. 7 years has proven that time and time again.
Know that China is definitely listening.

One of the biggest scandals in Thailand in recent years, and all they can recommend is delaying his pension and promotion for two years !
I know the ruling is "not final", but hard to see the Prosecution Commission over ruling it.
And all this took a year !
Shows the true face of the corrupt Thai judicial system !
One policeman dead. A tragedy, for sure. Thousands dead because of inept or even worse (I think everyone here knows what I am alluding to) is a scandal in an entirely different league.

Seems that you and the Thai Admiistrators don't understand what people are demanding/asking for. They are not demanding an appointment (date to get vaccine shot ) they are asking to register (be put on a list ) so that when you get vaccines in 2, 3, 4 months or more that you contact them and set up a date and time for them to come in and get a shot. Is that hard to understand?
If you were unable to register, maybe a special education teacher can help you. Seriously, I would bet you have been vaccinated, if you will take what is available.

I would also like to say thanks to who ever did the posting on here about the Med-Pack vaccination.
I scheduled my appointment over a month ago and received Pfizer on Thursday. The process from arrival to leaving took only 1 hour including the 30 minutes of observation after the injection. The one thing that surprised me was I was never asked what vaccination I wanted and was given Pfizer without requesting it. I hope the 2nd injection on the 2nd of September goes this well.

When's your next appointment? I was given AZ there a week ago yesterday, like you I happy with that and relieved. My second dose is on Saturday 30th October, exactly 12 weeks.
I got AZ in Chiang Mai. Next appointment 12 weeks out.

I also had a similar experience to Robbie63 at MedPark hospital yesterday - although wasn't treated with quite the same amount of VIP treatment. I am certainly not complaining - absolutely, the opposite. Considering the number of people they are dealing with, it was extremely well organised. On my return home yesterday, I sent them a 'thank you' email and I'll be seeing them again in 3 weeks time for my 2nd jab - all being well.
Regarding the gap between vaccines - in the US, a 3 week gap is also the 'norm'.
I wish everyone well.
What vaccine did you receive?

I work in public health here and And the general should stay home and shine his metals and let the adults run the situation. And when I say adults I mean people who are scientists. Covid visa extension after the end of september
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
Not so far. The 60 days start from when you show up and apply. If your current visa ends on a Sunday for example, you would go in and apply no later than the Friday before. If approved, the 60 day clock starts ticking from that Friday.
