So if she knew it makes it ok for owner to rip her off? Girls come and go not a problem to have enough staff. Actually she has 3 shops so just moved girls between them. Actually thinking about it owner changed rules many time. When I first started taking lady out to dinner I was told 500 baht. Then It was free for 1 hour and 500 for longer. Than changed to free 1 hour, 300 up to 2 hours then 500 longer. Then changed to 300 for up to 1.5 hours and 500 longer. So no set rules and I am almost 100% positive she would have been told the conditions because owner keeps changing to suit condition. A bar I sometimes goto bar fine is 500. Girls get 300 and bar 200. The massage owner gets ALL the fine.

I checked this out and is more for a complaint between a business and myself. It also requires documentary evidence and states if none attached complaint will not proceed. Thanks anyway.

Shop is in Loi Kroh road so charges standard rate for the area. As far as girls not at shop owner told me before If I took girl to dinner I had to "bar (massage) fine" her because she is not physically at the shop. Often 3 girls sit all day and my friend often says no customers today. And you are right about no friend but my lady friend does not see that. Like I said I probably wont have any success but I feel too strongly about this to just let it go.

Let me first acknowledge that this is Thailand and things are generally not the same but I feel strongly about this so seeking some help. A lady friend of mine works in a massage shop. If she doesn't do a massage she gets no money. Fair enough. As an example if she does a 1 hour oil massage, customer pays 300 baht, she gets 120 and shop 180. Fair enough I guess. No customers no pay. As an example if she were to sit at the shop for more than 12 hours every day for 5 days and no customers she gets nothing. Here is the part that gets me. Last week she went home for 5 days. She had to pay shop 500baht/day (2500baht). Now at her rate that is 21 massages. She definately would NOT get that many massages in 5 days. Its a small shop very close to other bigger more popular shops. I tried to tell her to leave shop and she said she dare not as owner a friend of the family and gave her job. I said she is not paying you but takes no notice. I had a falling out wit the boss over this and now my friend is no longer my friend. Does anyone know where, if anywhere, I could report this practice? I am in Chiang Mai. I know probably a waste of time but if I don't try nothing will happen.

I live in Padaet in Chiang Mai and yesterday (14th) we had 21mm (2.1cm) rain at my house. My weather station records show 28.5mm on the 3rd and 10.5mm on the 10th plus a few small falls other days. You must live in a very dry part of Chiang Mai.

I used to suffer badly if I had a fatty meal and went to bed not long after. Some time ago I had the cams up and down and doctor said due to a faulty valve in my oesophagus the lower part had been quite burnt by acid reflux. He put me on Dexilant for a time. When he said I could stop the reflux kept coming back. I decided to take a 30mg tablet 3 times a week and it worked. I told him bout what I was doing and suggested a 60mg tablet twice a week so I did that and again it works well. They are expensive even OTC at around 2200 baht for 28 tablets. But as I only take 2 a week they last 14 weeks nd believe me well worth it.

Anyone else tired of so many adverts on here? I know they need to make money but just tooooo many ads now. I click on a link and the page jumps up and down and rarely end up on the link post. Plus ads cover items, etc. Becoming an unpleasant experience to use now.

Yep, obviously google doesn't know that yet. I will be going the "blue route".

Amazing how the extremely smart Google gives different routes on the same search at different times. On my first try it gave me 2 options, one was the same the blue route on your post and the second was partly like grey route but went through Nong Boa Lam Phu to Udon Thani and then down to Kalasin and it indicated very little difference in distance and only 15 minutes longer. After seeing your post I did the search again and ended up with the same you got including longer time. Go figure.

Thanks for that. Yep only indicating 15 mins difference. I have driven from CM to Roi Et on the Phit/Khone route and not too bad. Few mountains after Phit. So I might stick to that one.

Travelling from Chiang Mai to Kalasin on Friday. Checked out google maps and it has offered me 2 routes. Through Phitsanulok/Khon Kaen or through Loei/Udon Than. Both are nearly same kilometres and times. Any one drive these roads recommend which? Not sightseeing just A to B. Thanks in advance.
