  1. Ive lived in a small village in Sakon Nakhon province for the past 16 years, just me ,wifey, daughter and the dog. Fresh air , no crime, peace and quiet, it wouldnt suit a lot of you guys , but after 45 years of London its bliss. We do visit Bangkok and pattaya for a little holiday but after 3 or 4 days we cant wait to get home.
  2. Hi, Ive seen a lot of posts saying how difficult it can be to get through to the UK call centre. but fortunately that was not the case for me. Calling from Thailand i used True move , put their 006 code in front of the number pressed option 1 to claim, and within 5 seconds i was talking to a very polite bloke. Few security questions, past addresses, employment etc and then on to the claim. 15 mins later all done. Phone call cost 2 quid. Ihad all the forms ready to post so glad i gave the phone a try. Hope its as easy for you when you put in a claim.
  3. This is regarding the marriage certificates they require...do i need to translate them from Thai into English ? Thank you for any replies.
  4. About 10 years ago i was bitten on the hand by a Malaysian Pit Viper, hospital didnt have anti venom, guy in the next village treated me with some home made potion. My arm, hand and shoulder looked terrible but the anti venom did the job. But 10 years on i still have a numb thumb !
  5. Fed up being told that men can get pregnant and have a menstrual cycle, that its ok for transgender men to compete against women. Peruvian government have got it right, it is a mental health problem. There are only two genders, men and women boys and girls, male and female, anyone you says otherwise does indeed need to seek help.
  6. Yep i gonna be no help at all as well, but just had a complete set of upper dentures fitted in Sakon Nakhon province, along with moulds, extractions, etc total cost 3400 baht. In Pattaya must be looking at 30k baht plus. for upper and lower.
  7. Found it . went back to UK gov website typed in SA100, went to how to fill in your self assesment form, scrolled down found SA100 for 2024. It says for reference only but i now remember this is what i used last year with no problem. Thanks for the replies.
  8. Hi, last year i was able to find a way to download this form, but this year no luck so far, its so stupid that i have to phone the UK tax office and get them to sent me the form, especially as all the other supplementary pages can be downloaded. Any help please. Thank you.
  9. I agree with MartinL, it could be the certificate you get from your local amphur office that proves you are still married, i normally get mine a day before i go to immigration, hopefully this is the case for you, as what they are asking for makes no sense. Do you still have the affirmation of freedom to marry form, which maybe you got before you got married ? perhaps its that form they want. Anyway i wish all the best.
