In our house, very confident not a problem, as I double checked everything. Use extreme caution in rentals or hotels. Never grab a handle to turn water on.
Knocking around town, I don't touch anything with open hand. If anything, rest the back of my and on step railings, and avoid all illuminated signs when raining or ground wet.
Was walking on walkway after a rain on Phuket, and a dog a few meters in front of us got zapped/killed. Don't know if it was just stepping in the puddle, or it actually touch the 'illuminated sidewalk sign w/wheels".
Scared the sh!t out of me, as I was walking with my daughter and she could have easily touched the sign. Rest of the journey was in the street. Very eye opening how dangerous it can be here.
We had a local up the road was out early in the morning or in the night frog hunting and he touched open wire somebody's switch to the well pump and the next morning found him stiff as a doorknob.

I've had extensive contact, two visits, with my BBL branch over the past three weeks, updating passport information, new phone, new phone number, re-enabling mobile banking, photograph, and facial recording (center, left, right, blink a few times).
They took my passport to a copier so I am unsure what they copied. But of the twelve signatures I had to provide, there was just the main/photo page of my passport which I was asked to sign.
It seems Bangkok Bank is making foreigners jump to a lot of hoops I'm glad they're not my major bank Kung Thai Bank doesn't do any of this stuff you can change your app to your new phone within a few minutes same with Kung Sri Bank

What's the closest you've got to being electrocuted.
I had my kitchen redone and the electrician instead of going and redoing the switch left it as it was. I was washing up the kitchen and some of the bleach water ran underneath the counter through the electric hob and landed on the switch The whole of the kitchen went into orange glow. As I was running away with the cleaner in one hand. My Thai partner looked at me and said what have you done. An hour later after smoke settled. We went to take a look at first I thought it was the electric induction stove that shorted out but here it was just the plastic switch.

I transfer via Wise from my CIBC acct twice a month.($1500) Just before month end and the 1st. I select the INTERAC option.I always receive the money to Kbank 20 minutes later.Only one time last month did it take overnight. The fee also has risen lately but still under $20 as opposed to the CIBC $60+ rip off previously.
I get a good ex rate and am very happy with them so far.
So for transfer you select interact transfer. I was told there is email transfer what is the fee from BOM.

Because it's never happened to me before in 14 years and my question is if you weren't living here anymore and you just came are they not going to give you your money out of the account that's why I'm asking just very authoritarianism I've never had that done to me at Kung Thai Bank or any other bank it's only happened to me for the first time in Bangkok Bank and Bangkok. Well they're sure in the hell not working for the DSI!

Even at the Big Bangkok Bank at the bottom of the Canadian embassy in the Tower block in Sathon. They've never taken a photocopy of the Visa page. That was 8 months ago.

Not sure why a bank copying your Visa/permission to stay stamp is such a concern for anyone? What's the big deal?

You show your ID to withdraw from a normal account they only take a sign photocopy of your passport when it is a fixed account you do not have to have a sign photograph when you're withdrawing from a normal account which I barely ever do anyway.

The banks, including BBL, have been doing it for years, it is nothing new, although you may not have been aware of the procedure.
I use them regularly never had that happen.

I recently went into Bangkok Bank to withdraw funds from a fixed account. instead of just taking a photocopy of the front picture of my passport they also were taking copies of my Visa page. It's the first time I've had this happen they've never done it in any of the other banks and Bangkok Bank has never done an up now or is it just a Bangkok thing or a certain branches that takes photocopies of your visa. I withdraw a few months ago using my ID card.

I know that if someone stay in a hotel/condo, the hotel log book has your name +Address and this will go every day to immigration.
For short stays the normal procedure is that when you return home, you need to report to immigration.
But what happens if you want to stay away for a longer period.
Example, renting a condominium for 2 or 3 months?
How do people get their TM30 when they own 2 places?Do it yourself register the both places online.

The question is about the carry-on, not the checked bag. I have a regular carry-on and a laptop bag. I'm concerned that the two bags will be an issue.
Go travel yourself and find out

They're not strict at all because you get free checkin luggage either 20 kilos or 25 kilos.

Don't need the ministry of foreign affairs to translate anything just take the Thai documents if they need to translate anything there's a translation at the passport and visa office that will be a lot easier and quicker than involving the ministry of foreign affairs. If you need any original document just go to your local government office and get the birth certificate. You don't need to worry about your ex-wife.

The farang is in the wrong but we have the Thai bashing farang apologists out it force with a lot of whataboutism nonsense. You should hear what the ties are saying about 75% ownership of condominiums by foreigners. I quote the government making 75% ownership of condominiums is going to make us Thai people third world people in our own country.
How close have you come to being electrocuted in Thailand?

Yes it's quite common to get tickles from the back of your fridge from aluminum surfaces like the microwave or the back of your fridge.
