Some of the expats in Thailand love to imitate the locals and love their drink. A lot of those on the forum. Just look at the howls of displeasure when alcohol is banned for a day.
If guilty send him to jail and then ban him from entering Thailand. 2 people died and if he was drunk its an unforgiveable act.
He didn't do it very well it should of been up hanging from the power lines facing the other way with three other cars totalled off.. This is just a minor scratch... There are more ambulances then people

You meant transport the drugs from dock to dock using the underwater stealth mode they have and only using the periscope to steer clear of danger as they cross 100 meters of treacherous water.
You can just walk across the Mekong and have lunch on the Thai side...

I've been in Isaan for 12 years and I find it fascinating. Virtually every week there is something that I find of interest or something that surprises me, dismays me and sometimes shocks me.
My wife runs four biggish farms and they too have had their ups and downs recently. This year there has been very little rain and the rice harvest was abysmal. Also, I couldn't fill the ponds up enough to risk putting in fish. I have still got 80% water in two ponds, but I've sacrificed three others to get this.
A neighbor recently killed our farm dog (because it killed one of his chickens) and someone borrowed 10 litres of diesel from the farm house store without telling us. We found out who it was. Of course, he just forgot to tell us; but he would have eventually!
The wife was on the loo and couldn't give rice to the monk the other day. She asked me to give it. No problem! But I didn't get on my knees; just called him over and tipped it into his pot. I got the 'thank you' verse all the same. Later, when the wife found out that I'd not even bowed my head she was not best amused. "You must not be higher than monk," said she.
But, there are lovely things aplenty in the village. Dancing and laughter and Lao Khao drinking. Somone had had a bit of good fortune on the lottery.
I'll try to update the thread a couple of times a week. Shortly I'm off to Nong Khai to get some grow bags for my avocado trees that I've grown from seed and will soon need potting. I'll put in some pics as I go.
Wonderful! Not much has changed up here.

I just parked my truck in front of tesco I decide to quickly pop into the chemist as I entered into the Chemistry my phone suddenly starting ring. It was a number I haven't seen before. 075 450 505. I answered guickly trying to look important in front the Chemist. A sexy sounding lady was saying hello Mr..... I said it's me... she sounded pleased to finally reach me with some exciting news.
I replied yes what's up.... Babe...
She said Its Air Asia calling your flight from Nakhon si Thammarat had been cancelled do you know that......
I waited until I left the chemist then hung up.
Moral of the story lucky I didn't take the flight down there last week and got stranded with no ways back.
When is the last time an airline has given you a courtesy call.

Forget to take your medicine today did you?
Banks never take out a loan on the current projects land it is a loan for the next project. Also some half the units have been tranfered alreasdy and my lawyer has confirmed that yes the company can take a loan out on their chanote. The question is is it legal or not for the other owners waiting to tranfer.. This is not bermondsey market or the blue where things get Hawked. A Hawked is a bird that drops or swoops down and takes you pommerian out of the yard. While your watching.

Well – let’s amplify this ridiculous pissing contest.
Reference section 1469 in the Thailand Civil and Commercial Code
https://www.thailandlawonline.com/59-usufruct-in-thailand/4-can-my-thai-wife-cancel-my-usufruct
When the usufruct is registered with the land office it is in essence not a contract that can be terminated by your wife.
Usufruct is a real right and as a real property right governed by the civil and commercial code book IV PROPERTY and not book III CONTRACTS. This means that once the right of usufruct is registered it is more or less guaranteed by law and to terminate the usufruct your wife would need 1 your consent or 2 a court order to have it removed from the title deed.Anyway – a point of order, we are discussing in English language the administration of Thai Law, which is written in the Thai Language, advocated by Thai Attorneys and adjudicated by Thai courts of law.
Nobody that has chimed in on this thread is able to provide a formal credible legal opinion concerning Usufructs, or any other part of the Thai legal system.
Now, for the record, I paid for formal legal protection by a real live licensed and practicing Thai Real Estate Attorney who spends a good portion of his time in Thai courts of law.
It was money well spent and I am as protected as I can be.
Great so it's also good for the married man with a wife with land. I just went and got mine through the officer at the office.

Can a property devopler company take out a loan on the developments chanote which that the company owns before the existing condo units are tranfered. The condo units have already been prepaid in full.
I am aware the officer at the Land Office will want to see the loaner in person before issuing the tranfer for the condo unit. To have their permission.
My lawyer says yes they can mortgage the land others are saying no.
If you havd factual knowledge or documents articles gratfully appreciated.

1. In the context of this topic, there is no such thing as a falang.
2. A usufruct and a lease are two entirely different things.
One is for life even if the Thai owner dies. The other one is not.
