Right or wrong this is a ploy to steer the election result to exactly where it was prior to the election. I'm surprised that anyone thought there was ever a chance of change. Perhaps we were all just hoping against hope that this time it might be different? MFP can claim a moral victory but when you look at what happens in all of Thailand's neighbours (bar Malaysia) there are lots of role models of military dominance with no appetite for democracy. Thailand is just fitting in.
RIP Thailand you are being strangled to death and nothing short of a full civil war will reverse it and we know who has the bigger pistola if it ever came to that. It will make good news headlines around the world but, as in Myanmar, blood will flow in the streets and nothing good will come of it. Revolt will only tighten the military's blood thirsty grip on power.
So sad, so wrong and so predictable.

Don't let his BS acceptance fool you. They will try with the 250 BS senators & perhaps Anutins 70 seats or other cronies to upstage MF 310 seat Party
Money talks which makes the numbers to form a majority very rubbery.

Nothing will happen without the blessing of the military and their 250 appointed senators are already flexing their collective muscles. It’s hard to see any change under these circumstances and things have probably gotten worse for the average citizen. Hard to see the generals backing down.

Best case scenario is we end up with a quasi-democratically elected government but until the 250 senate seats allotment is abolished we will never see true democracy. No government can deliver to the people whilst the true power is still in the hands of the corrupt military and their cronies. I can't see anything but a very rocky road ahead.

Convicted by an illegal, illegitimate regime. Surely there's got to be a legal loophole somewhere.

Age is not the issue, type of visa and/or re-entry permit is. If you don't have a long stay visa and a re-entry permit, a return ticket is required.
I’ve never been challenged with a one way ticket. Most recently when I flew in at a the end of last year. Didn’t have a visa. Got my 45 day stay on arrival and then extended another month at immigration. Back to 30 days now if I’m not mistaken. Maybe I’ve been lucky

I agree. Never lived there but have always enjoyed myself on each of 5 or 6 times I passed through.
Close to Laos, has a decent airport and easy access to trains and bus transport.- 1

Reduces evaporation ? no it does not , solar panels are hotter then water surface , creating hotter surface water temp , creating more evaporation .There are advantages putting solar panels on water , like the colder cell temp makes higher power production . However there are also many downsides , like oxygen production is way higher from algae living on water surface then any tree on the planet .
It would depend on how high above the water surface the cells are set and how much insulation on the underside of each of the panels to reduce the radiated heat. The cells for sure will provide a constant source of shade but I'm not sure that your argument about heat transfer is entirely correct as the factors I have mentioned could come into play.

Yep. My experience too. And even more so when you want to use the meter.

Being jailed for the rest of your life with no chance of parole is worse than death specially when the offender is young, although I'm not sure what is the penalties for a mother with a newly born baby,
just curios, are those cyanide pills so easily available to buy?
I agree. Death would be too quick and easy. Life imprisonment would be the better option with no chance of a pardon or parole.

The reservoir is now home to the world’s largest hybrid solar-hydropower project. Installed on the surface of the water are 144 000 separate solar panels, the equivalent of 100 football fields. The 45 MW of peak power the project can produce complements the existing dam operations, which can generate an additional 36 MW, and provide electricity across three provinces in eastern Thailand.
And reduces evaporation I would imagine thus preserving water - another valuable asset.

Anti-government stand up sketches.
The hide of some people. Lock him up I say.
Thailand is so much like Putin’s regime in the way it responds to dissent or criticism. Before you know it they’ll be falling from tall buildings. Accidentally of course- 1

If this is interference then what do you call the military’s appointment of 250 senators whose sole purpose is to undermine the will of the people?
