It's a shame that the Church of England wasn't the branch of Christianity that went out and took over so many societies. I think things would have been a little better.
Probably not with Henry as their moral inspiration.

Any idea how much Xarelto costs here in Thailand? I am also on 20mg and have enough to last me the next couple of months but will have to stock up eventually.
At govt hospital it's 106 Baht per tablet.
At private hospital it can be double that and more. Cost me 209 Baht per tab.
Sheryl's lead is offering in the order of 90 Baht per tablet.

No guarantee but you can try:
Kriang Sak Phesat Pharmacy tel 042-411 685
Nong Khai Pharmacy Shop tel 042-411 148If no luck, you can order it online form hereYou will probably have to create an account first to be able to view available drugs and order. It is a reliable service, I have used it. However they seem to have only the imported brand, Xarelto, which is expensiveThere is a locally made brand called Rovoxan. If unable to find it in Niong Kai pharmacies, try asking these 2 sources:You have to use Messenger t ask them if they have it then place an order if they do. They are reliable and will ship promptly, payment is by bank transfer. Don't bother trying to use the website search function, everything comes back as nto found but in fact they have most things.(using LineApp) YaPaiboonYiu have to message them by LINE to find out what they have and place order. Payment in advance by bank transfer. They are reliable.Once again, thanks. I'm in central Thailand. (Nong Khae often confused with Nong Khai)

I found Xarelto to be available (on order) from the Pharmacy on the second floor above Big-C Ekammai.
https://www.safeandsavepharmacy.com/ติดต่อเรา/
We could call them up and make an order (they want money upfront) we could make an online transaction / payment to the person in the shop and they would order the Xarelto (Rivoroxaban).
(I since get it sent over from the UK every 4 months).
If you go to any large pharmacy they should be able to order it for you (not boots or watsons).
Some info in both of these threads.

Thank you greatly Richard.

The real issue is the hanging wires. The age of the gent entangled is probably irrelevant to the issue; the wires have caused many incidents across this country and when you slowly drive around you get a good picture of the reality. The wires are snare-like, possibly 1.5 mm diameter, black with a black road background and drooping anywhere along the height of the body. Predictable killer.

Saraburi Immigration Office relocated from their site on Mitraphap Road Phutachai to new purpose built offices in Sao Hai. to the West of Meuang Saraburi. The GPS co-ordinates: 14.553858115537121, 100.8594990312876 approximately 20 kms from the previous office. The new offices are located in a renovated govt office area off the main roads so a little difficult to navigate by verbal instructions. GPS map/App is a real advantage here.
The offices are well serviced for car parking and disability access. The senior staff are the same familiar faces. Tens of new computer terminals for the staff so hopefully Online 90 day reports will be soon available.
There are major road works happening between Saraburi city and Sao Hai which can slow the car speed considerably. Once at the offices it's all easy. There are a number of street food restos within a km of the offices but nothing in very close proximity. Randomly picked a restaurant for lunch and was satisfied with food quality and preparation.- 1

Less than 50% of people in Thailand are vaccinated fully because of a lack of available vaccine and the wait periods between dispatches. A premium vaccine has been offered to this nation as a gift; a significant proportion of the world are wishing for a lifeline such as this and this countrys bureaucrats spit in the eye of the generous donor and more of her citizens will suffer illness, hospitalisation and in some cases death.

Paying by mobile app is usually much quicker than cash.
Covid threw a spanner in the works wrt speed. Facial recognition stymied by a mask! Move out of the line to scan my face because the teller gave me a disapproving look as I began to drop the mask at the till. Back in line then the second ID so ducked out of line again, but that didn't work as was wanting a PIN. Couldn't remember my PIN so checked back in the security wallet which requires facial recognition. 10 minutes later had it all together. Traumatised and humiliated and vowed to only take cotton bags of bleach soaked coins next time!...
You need to learn to move with the times, money is dirty and carries germs.
I do need to learn the moves and money may be dirty but nowhere near as filthy as the looks seared into the back of my head from follow on shoppers in the queue behind me! -

The dream of herd immunity maybe misleading.
The NIH's (US) take on herd immunity with respect to Covid-19:
It's an elusive term. The majical number of immunity is unknown, variance with mutation is an unknown and possibly causes a reduction in duration of immunity. Currently we know that it's 6 months but we don't have information beyond that for Covid. Thus there is a development of strategies for booster doses including for variant strains. It's being suggested that we take our focus off hered immunity as a goal and just focus on as many people as possible considering and hopefully being convinced of the benefit of vaccination for themselves primarily and protecting their immediate community. -
It's easy! Drill a core and cement a blue PVC into the core.
A conservateurs choice! -
Hmm... Do this: Set up Sat Phones or Radio Transmitters,
... StarLink?

We should be careful not to criticise Thais too severely considering how the general population in some Western developed countries have behaved during national holidays. At least everyone wears a mask.
Logical fallacy. Appeal to hypocrisy, known as "tu quoque", shifting the focus back onto the criticiser.

The PM and DPM are pictured wearing an inappropriate mask for this purpose. I am surprised that their advisors aren't onto this.
Masks with exhalation valves allow exhaled breath to escape unfiltered, potentially contaminating bystanders.

The cases ... tested positive for Covid-19 on the same day. ... were immediately sent to Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital for treatment.
What treatment are they receiving on the basis of a positive Covid test?
