  1. My thinking on this one, is that its a hand tool, but at first glance you would expect the handle to be an axle of some nature.

The numbers are pressed manually not hot with hammer as the other numbers would be be damaged.

So I conclude its used during the curing process of concrete kerb manufacture and they press in batch numbers or sequence numbers for the installation.

The other three characters maybe lbs denoting the weight maybe., such as being pressed into molten steel rsj

    No idea hahaha

  2. Well busy lunch and evening, kiat num , I think same soi as you work great place,

Busy also the lemon tree, good value food in worse than poor surroundings but often busy.

Thai people don't do the traditional breakfast lunch dinner, its more like snacking on grass and weeds all day then perhaps go out with friends in the evening to eat exactly the same again stuffed into a fish.

So roadside food carts are popular in the daytime....any thai owned restaurants are not serious businesses are they?....well, are they?

  3. The fact that its hot or cold water is irrelevant, the solvent weld is to prevent leaks.

But you can not solvent weld a plain ended blue pipe (mdpe) into the chrome threaded fittings of a shower.

You should run a flexi to the shower and the other end of the flexi to a gate valve/service valve....the ones with the red or blue plastic lever tap.

This inturn would be screwed into the plastic female end of the mdpe.

The gate valve allows you to switch of the water at that point and replace or repair the shower at any point.

    something like this

This is for the wc and bum gun but for shower you can have an actual tap to activate

    Hope that helps

  4. If you have a global house down your way you can get them.

I bought a few myself last year, as a brit we call them cranked shoot bolts, and I needed them the fit on all my windows because the the plonker who fitted them before just put on flush bolts......obviously with no timber purchase to lock the window.......don't you just despair at inadequacies here.

  6. Your friends may be able to check their luggage to the final destination, but they will have to go through immigration in Bangkok because their CNX-BKK flight is into the domestic area not international. So, they will have to exit the domestic area and go through the process of exiting at the international area. It might help if a note is made, and that you get some physical assistance to help you clear customs and immigration lines due to the time frame.

    No, you are wrong.

You check in the domestic side if you have separate flights and ask to check you all the way through.

You will then get a customs clearance badge and they send you to the international waiting lounge...where immigration is.

At bkk you do not go to immigration again you are diverted straight to the departure gate area.

But the solution is to transfer the flight if you know whether your domestic bit is via thai air or bkk air

  7. First job to do, is to make sure you clear immigration at chiang mai.

If the flight sets off on time you should be ok, it takes one hours but the schedule usually states 1hrd 15min.

So you get off the plane and do the short cut through the airport with your blue customs clearance badge.

Usually the staff know how many people still to check in and which flight they come in by so they will be there holding cards up, ushering you along.

Its tight yes, I don't like the stress of racing 800m through bkk airport.

And a final suggestion...at chiang mai try get on a seat near the frinto, so you are first off.

  8. It maybe that after the minivans canceled the service to mai sai that there was a surge to get the green bus tickets and he simply missed out.

As a rule I always get my ticket one week in advance to ensure I get the vip seats.

OP you did ask for the 8.00 out and 15.30 return as suggested?

Could be a very very long day now.

  9. Beware of using the movie apps, the time the apps claim that the movie starts is often not the correct time!

Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met behulp van Thaivisa Connect Thailand

You need to change your phone from european time....

I have never missed a movie time using the apps

  10. There are many architect designed houses in the books you can but at most large bookshops, such as dk books if there is one in your area or see.ed? The one always in a tesco/big c mall.

Typical house designs all with approx cost, and a guide to estimate your own build.

to err on the side of caution with a bungalow budget on 12 to 15k all in per m2, .....that really is generous and will help you decide whether your builders are taking you for a ride.

  11. Less onerous you mean.

Yes anyone can open account, tourist visa no problem.

All you need is your passport and an address.

The address can be hotel guesthouse, restaurant, they don't care.

I think when I opened an account it was a guest house, then became a restaurant, not even been there for 4 yrs.

And you need 200/300bt to but the atm debit card.....oh and they will ask how much you want to put in your new account....so 500bt is sufficient

    Jobsa guden!

  12. I was thinking myself of the financial set back now on the silver van companies.

Each van is turning over 7/8,000 bt a day and there are dozens up there every day.

Suddenly their van loans are going going to be difficult to finance.

Drivers out of work, your agents with no commission.

As for the green bus......I wish I had bought some shares. I think you will see more green buses now.

How things can change on a sixpence, I wonder if the immi had theforesight to anticipate this?

OP, you are now in the driving seat literally

Win win.....do you have a work permit to be a trip driver..hahaha
