  1. Story could have been worse, Mum could have picked the wrong ball out
  2. Oh well, there goes the staff wages this month. and that it could have been caused by the negligence of the staff who did not properly extinguish the charcoal found in the kitchen.

  5. Well, making it a 20 year sentience for killing whilst drunk driving would be a good start
  6. ‘Beach for life’ wrote a statement detailing five requests for the department: Take full responsibility for the incident Cover the damages and heal the injured They will certainly fight point 2. !!
  7. The Thai death holiday season is off to a cracking start. The soldier should be locked up for life - to me the story reads he was more concerned with hiding the ciggies than the injured and dying
  8. Sure hope the wife does not read about this story - I'm telling her it me making the earth move for her
  9. Beats working with the migrants in the hot sun for 3-4 months
  10. Just out of interest, do you own your own home ? Finding a job is not always easy (especially as you have decided not to work for a year) and you would NOT be entitled to unemployment benefit due to your savings, meaning that £20,000 might well disappear very, very quickly (and long before g/f application) if you are renting and supporting yourself. If I was you, I would kiss the G/f goodbye and go home and get a job and home before doing anything. If she loves you she will understand the situation and wait.
  11. Dos anyone really think that banning guns in the USA would mean criminals having less guns ?
  12. The ThaiRSC reported in January that as many as 939,713 road accidents were reported in Thailand last year, up 4.7% from 2021. Road accidents killed 14,737 people, That figure is ridiculous, it means basically 1 in every 70 people in Thailand will be in a road accident every year !! Now some may say that the uk's 800,000 road accidents is very similar - BUT, Thai road deaths are 14,700 and UK death 1400 (10% of Thailand) - so basically what is the difference ? Answer - SPEED & ALCOHOL. I've yet to meet any Thai relative of mine that does not hit the accelerator to 150 KM after pulling away from the kerb !
  13. Maybe they should have a new law that if anyone under 18 kills someone together with someone over 18, the younger gets a lesser sentence but the reduced years are added to the adults sentence for 'influence'. So if you knock 30 years off a 35 year child sentence, the influencing adult now get 65 years.
  14. Yeah , right, I'll plan my next trip to the UK with that in mind !
  15. Not really. If someone stabbed my relative to death I would much rather that person spend the rest of their life in a hithole thai prison than have the easy way out
  16. Really, it's a bit like having the head of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. being granted the leadership of world security for a month
  17. If chucking water at each other is a cultural heritage then I suggest Musical chairs should be granted it in the UK
  18. I think that is a very good sentence, considering the mass death and murder they could have caused
  19. better question would be why can they not invent an electric car battery that recharges itself as it runs making it free to run ? Or why is not ALL the body work of an electric car solar panels ?
  20. Following Yu’s conviction and life imprisonment by a Thai court in 2020, Wang appealed the decision herself after his sentence was reduced to 10 years. Sorry but I think she must have hit her head too hard in the fall ! Happened to me, they would stay in there and rot
