My 7 year old takes 30 baht to school each day, what she does not spend she puts in the piggy bank, we got 600 baht this month on recyclables - she knows she get 25% of it and put it in the piggy bank. any money she gets from friends and relatives goes in the piggy bank. We have taught her to understand money and save for schooling and housing - and she totally understands at 7. Seems like my 7 year old daughter is smarter financially at planning that 95% of the Thai nation

I am rather hopeful they got their 70 men in reversal prior to their death -
Obama appointed judge - surprise !!! In all honesty I do not think it will happen, it will now go to some appeals court and likely the supreme court first. This judge should be fired immediately - like him or loathe him there is no way a person can get a fair trial in a Den state, with a Dem judge, on a prosecution bought by a Dem state representative. Bit like saying a black man wold get a fair trial in a KKK hickville town that had no blacks on the just and a judge with a Rebel flag behind him ! Besides, If i was Trump atturney and it goes ahead, I would declare ALL the 12 million documents defence material and read through everyone with the jury - judge could not complain as it would cause mistrial

Man Stabs Ex-girlfriend to Death in Broad Daylight in Kathu
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Said this before - punishment for murder should be related to the age of the person you murder. You get a standard say 25 years sentence for the murder PLUS half the expected life expectancy left of the victim. Killing a pensioner would give you 25 years, but killing a teen would give you say 25 + an additional 30. The punishment should not just be about the death, but the the length of life lost. -

Sadly with those senators, there will never be a 'free' election in Thailand. -
I dunno, Potential bribery. Deliberate destruction of the American borders, allowing the BLM riots to pass without a criminal investigation of the democratic cities allowing them ? Lying to the public about his son, lying to the public about russian dossiers. Failure to indict ANY democrats that said the election was stolen by trump, Is Trump perfect - no, far from it, but he is no worse than Biden who is now openly trying to use the DOJ and FBI to stop his biggest rival. How do we know this is the case ? Because NONE of the cases would fall after the election. Not one case have they looked at it politically and seen the election is coming and the prosecution could wait until after - if they did not fear him getting back in, why the hurry ? He would still be there after the next election.

I completely agree with you, the one-sided anti-trump bias on this site is ridiculous - and I do not mean the people commenting on the post , who even though I disagree with them politically I would fully support them having the right the say what they believe politically. When you have a site that is at least 99 to 1 anti one party it makes the entire site less worthy of news and more noteworthy of being more left wing media.

According to locals, a Thai woman paid a visit to his house about five to six days before his discovery. They heard the woman urge the Finnish man to leave the door open and indicate her intention to return later. They noted that the Finnish man hadn’t been seen leaving the house since that day. The plot thickens !

Course, there are millions of high paying (or even reasonably paid) jobs out there for a million or so school leavers each year ! Then again, I could say that about my home town in the UK, where at 16 you could just take your pick of any factory on the estate , but now its just a large field of offices !
