  1. This is tragic and was likely preventable. I've been driving motorbikes for 40 years and you have to drive like everyone is out to kill you. Anything less is dangerous.

I'd like to see CCTV footage is possible. No doubt the truck driver was careless but was mom on the bike inattentive at all? Passing the truck when a potential turning point was present? You have to be hyper aware of vehicles turning and take precautions.

    Very sad......

Lovely humans, always ready to mock and despise someone who doesn't conform to what we consider to be 'beauty', or 'normal'. Get a life morons.

Not necessarily mocking or despising, just stating that the woman is very physically unattractive. I believe the huge majority of people, herself included, would agree to that.

Not too sure if it's photo-shopped, but there's definitely some serious make-up artistry going on.

  3. You'd think a guy his age with a disastrous marriage and all the attending fallout behind him would see that -ahem - relationship for what it is. He's either willfully or woefully blind. That broad isn't even remotely good looking and she's fat. If you're gonna get screwed by a Thai girl, literally and figuratively, at least get one that's slim and beautiful. It's not like they're in short supply.

  4. I live in Laos, same same but different. I left Canada in 2005. I'll never go back. I hate the place. The weather is the worst. Its boring, expensive and full of posers who care more about what you own instead of who you are.

Now with Trudeau's government giving the country away to Muslims it's well on its way to becoming a Caliphate. Liberal limp-twisted do gooders with no sense of national pride. I hate it.

    Goodbye and God freaking riddance.

    Hummm, no they don't.

They work by cooling the air.

Wet air at 28 degrees is the same temperature as dry air at 28 degrees.

you just feel more comfortable in dryer air.

the AC typically needs to run for about 15 minutes before it starts dehumidifying the air. So if your room cools down in 20 minutes you get little moisture extracted before it switches the cooling off.

Then why do AC units have a hose that drips water outside? Where's the water coming from. Humid air is hotter than cold air. If you don't believe me, spend 2 winters in Canada, one in Vancouver and one in Calgary. -20C in Calgary feels way warmer than +2C in Vancouver.

  6. As a Canadian who left over 12 years ago this merely legitimizes everything I feel that crap country. It's hyper-liberalism and desire to be everyone's home regardless of circumstance is leading it down a dark path. I am so glad I left. I have never been back and never will go back.

I was living in Toronto in the late 80's in a flat. One day two girls moved into the downstairs flat and I went to meet them. The were Somali sisters. They told me that in Somalia it was very well known that Canada was the place to get to if you wanted a free ride. They spoke English quite well and told me it had cost them US$ 50,000 each to be smuggled into Canada so they could claim refugee status.

    It worked.

Their rent was paid for a fully furnished apartment, they were given money to buy food, they were given money for entertainment (go see a movie etc), they had free medical (it's Canada) and free dental. They weren't even expected to start trying to find employment. They told me government officials advised them to relax, take their time and get to know their new country. Things would all be taken care of. They loved their new home.

In short order the neighbourhood had dozens of Somalis and more were coming. So, the Canadian government built them a recreation center where they could all gather. And more moved in.

While all this is very nice and generous and oh so Canadian, me and my wife were working full time for our full ride.

As an aside, if you've got US$ 50,000 in Somalia (in the late 80's), it doesn't exactly sound like you're a refugee from anywhere except an exclusive spa.
