Any? I have got many. What I don't understand is what you are getting at - or are you just trolling again. I would be asking about specific qualifications, if it was indeed relevant at all. Which it isn't.

Because some people like scaremongering - and some people like to panic at the slightest whiff of trouble. Nothing concrete, nothing official about it happening, keep a watching brief.

I don't believe that it would be anything like as easy as you suggest. The Thai authorities can't even connect traffic offences with road tax/licence renewal.

You have tried 'tap and go' here have you? I am waiting for the old hags at Makro to move towards that technology - QR codes take then ages, just as bad in 7-11.- Do any Farangs actually choose to live in Isaan?
Few people in their right mind choose to live in Isaan. We move to Isaan because that is where our teeraks hail from. Some, who financially don't need to stay, stay and make a success of it. Most stay because they have few, if any, other options.- Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part I

But will involve Probate costs. Others are looking at practical methods of the GF/Wife accessing the bank funds.- Why are UK expats still doing the 800K deposit for retirement extensions ?
All mandates cease on death. That is the legal position - anything ither than that is illegal. Of course, the practical route is for a partner to gradually siphon off the money via the ATM (or preferably via internet banking). I have known situations where a wife has got greedy/stupid and, for whatever reason, the ATM card has been retained. Then she is totally buggered. A Will is a back up to whatever expedients you choose to put in place.- Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part I

Yes, and they have a MUCH better life than you will have when you are a senior.
