  1. Tongue Thaied.....nice to know you are a "coffee lover", I read some of your replies around TV

Will be nice to share some experience in the future, by the way what's equipment do you own?

Don't worry,I don't want to sale you anythingwink.png but I was only curious.

    Cheers

  2. Quickmill...I realise you are honest and knowledgeable about your products. I was sorry I could not deal with you.

your compliment make me glad, basically it's the first public compliment i got, I go to party with a cappuccinobiggrin.png

Now you do disappoint me..A true Italian like you only drinks small cups of esspresso with the only addition a large shot of Grappa....Si.

not in working hours, but a Spritz ( Aperol+Prosecco) after work is a must

  4. Hi Paulbrun, unfortunally we are located only in Bangkok, so I guess you prefer a closer supplier.

I hope soon to get positives reviews as Broomers didsmile.png

Which is a pity as when you advertised your special on your auto machine I was looking for one as my old machine was in its last legs and may have stretched it to that but you said it was Bangkock only so I got the manual machine I had been looking at before here.

Hi Harrry, yes the special offer was only for Bangkok and I tell you why.

Believe me or not I keep my profit very honest and every special offer include anyway the warranty 1 year fully warranty on site+ 2 years for main parts.

Even if I know that the reliability of our products it's quite constant, I prefer anyway to avoid unpleasant situation and offer a special price even for outside Bangkok could be a wrong commercial policy especially in case of huge selling volume because I like to keep my words always.

My previous answer to Paulbrun has been only an information regarding the capsule coffee machine not all our products.

The official price list it's for ALL Thailand.

    Have a good kuppa

  5. Goodmoring Fareastguy,

Actually my only idea is to warmly recommend you a trip to a Saeco service center.

What pictures showed are not the parts you are guessing.

Picture1: the couple of brown small cylinder are thermostats not heating element

Picture4: the parts you call probes are the ends of heating element

Basically you don't need a savvy coffee machine engineer, is more useful a young boy but with the proper knowledge about "this" machine and it's symptoms and cause of malfunction, in brief a Saeco technician at Boncafe', last time I went there to buy a spare part they has the table loaded of similar machines waiting to be repaired, they know how to deal with it.

    Cheers

    Giampiero

  6. If you already dis-assembling your machine it's a good beginning biggrin.png .

If there is not a reset thermostat I guess should there is a thermo fuse.

Usually a Thermo fuse or thermal fuse seems a resistor with wires connected to the ends, just type thermal fuse on google to see it.

I think the single cable you found, who entering the body of cylinder, it's a temperature probe.

Even Harrry gave to you a good advice, in effect some ( remember i don't know this machine so take my words with caution) fully auto machine has a coffee ground tunnel with a dosing system( and a micro switch to) that in case it stick, nothing works.

Once more time good lucksmile.png .

  7. I can only give to you some generic suggestion due to I don't know that specific machine.

In effect I don't know if that machine has a stats or thermo fuse or other temperature control device such as a probe, so in case you want to try to inspect the machine you must to be sure you can even verify the status of the devices and you need a multimeter.

Anyway a re settable temp stats look like a small ceramic cilinder with 2 faston connector and a small button on the top.

It's usually attached to the water boiler or thermoblock surface.

In OFF position ( meaning the temperature has gone higher than safety limit) the small button go up and you have to push it down ( should do a "click" sound).

In case it happen you have to verify even why the temperature has gone over the limit or maybe you will create a danger situation, once you found the cause and solve it you can safety plugged in the machine again.

Reading the user manual it's mentioned only that in this case ( top and bottom light flashing after 30 secs) you should to contact the service center, so maybe it's a problem they know involve a partial disassembling of the machine, often not easy to do, hoping some members will be useful more than me.

    Good luck

  9. Hi and thank you for suggestion.

Material is brass, tolerance between 0,05 to 0,2 mm.

I need to machining the parts in both axes with a specific angle.

What I'm looking for it's a place where they can even read and understand properly the technical drawing, or if not just with proved experience to carry as well the job.

In effect to contact some technical school such as Don Bosco could be useful and maybe they could be find my project even interesting for a school internal project, the Metalex trade show date it's to far.

Anyway more suggestion are welcome as the first one already gave to me some idea.

    Thank you.

  10. Hi,

I'm seeking to get advise about a workshop in Bangkok ( any area) who can do precision machining on a lathe.

My need it's related to realize a single special part for a coffee machine as prototype.

If somebody had already direct positive experience with some of them or any good advice, I will appreciate your suggestion.

    Thank you.

  11. in effect seems rats are attracted by the wires sheath material and even by electromagnetic field generated when the electric system it's power on.

The only think you should to do it's to protect all your wires with a pipe, pvc it's ok but a metal one should be a definitive solution.

Check all your junction boxes and even the main power board, be sure there are no holes which can become a way to get in.

I've never heard about specific product as repellent to spray on the wires but doesn't mean doesn't exist.

I knew some people who had your problem even inside a coffee machinew00t.gif , I could only suggest to segregate it as well as possible.

By the way a couple of cats maybe could be the easy solutionbiggrin.png .

  14. At Home an over sized cappuccino with decaffeinated espresso, 2 slices of home made cake ( depend what available in home) or croissant. If i'm not at home depend what the place can offer.
always thought it was against the law for purveyors of coffee to admit to drinking decaf? wink.png
Only if soya milk and flaxseed are involved. Syrup is the only cure I believe!

giggle.gif this is nothing, the biggest scoop is that my girlfriend drinks Nescafe'cheesy.gif

  16. market for espresso machine in Thailand, it's more than you expect, 90% for Thai people, but I can see it because it's my business fieldwink.png

Yes it is a market , Thais love their ice coffee , but why cant they reduce the taxes on these products ?

I bought a washing machine (LG) with front load a few months ago , it was on sale and cost me only 10k in a Bangkok mall. A lot cheaper than in Europe.

So no reason why coffee machines have higher import taxes.....

    I agree with youbiggrin.png.

Yes me too I found some products are cheaper here than in Europe but maybe because are made here or in some ASEAN country.

  17. If it really was a market for espresso machines in Thailand . the prices would fall 50-70 % .

As long as only foreigners buy it , Thai retailers just think that they can ask any price.

If you're in Cambodia , check the prices there , its a lot cheaper than Thailand.
