I live on Koh Phangan my IO is on Koh Samui the next island last week I had 3 immigration officers turn up at my house and asked me for my passport they were all in uniform and had ID hanging from around their necks on the back of the jackets was printed in large I migration Suratthani I found them very polite . I pointed out to them that my extension of stay 90 day report was in 14 days and on 20 June my yearly extension of stay was for renewal they all confirmed that I did not have to do anything as I was good until 31 July I questioned this again and they were adamant that they were correct the IO who seemed to be in charge took a picture of me  Outside my property and maybe a picture of my passport but I’m not sure he gave me his phone number and he has mine and told

me if there were issues at Samui IO to call his number and he would speak with them .as I said I live on another island I don’t even know if any ferry boats are running as the regulations are very strict I know the food wagons and fuel tankers are still coming .it would be better if the Head of IO came out and made it clear regarding those on extension of stay ( retirement )

That's the problem, i had info from a person, who was 5 days ago at IO in CW, she told me the same, she spoke with an IO officer that confirmed that even people on 1 year permit of stay of an type, "can or have" to wait until 31st July before apply for the renewal...if their OYSP, expires before that date.????

  2. Good morning,

I'm in the process to require an extension based on Marriage after 7 years of Non B extension.

My question is, as the topic title, do i have to cancel first the Non B extension, if yes how long before to apply for the Marriage extension?

My Non B extension will expire on 5th June.

    Thank you.

  3. Balls of Steel....what many Thai people are going through is unimaginable by many of us, they know that they must to go ahead with their own power,  many of them are really poor, i can't say they are what they did in the past, because many never had their life in their hands or had any opportunity to improve their life.

Living in poverty for all the life and suddenly you lost the little you have, probably nothing will change, but this lady still to push hard for her children and herself, as her many did, so this is a very good opportunity for any government, let your people sink, they will never have the voice to battle you, they will only battle to survive.

  4. I could blame more the people that yesterday got mad to buy alcohol, but i can't blame people that wanted to go to work, obviously no one even thought  to deploy extra trains ( if there are some available)...but i don't think that many would wait the next one....if nobody control the flow.

This is a big chaotic city....you can force me to be at home not after 10pm...but during the day...good luck.

  5. Yes, why not, if China will be found to be responsible for the "virus creation and subsequent spreading" i think they should to be sued.

But what other countries did to fight the "virus"  it could not be taken under China responsibility.

Note that i think that something weird does exist ( by all sides) in all this crazy period, but searching for a scapegoat is not the way to solve the actual situation.

  6. In every catastrophe, natural or human made, there is a chance to make money, whom without scruples will never lost this opportunity, as well i think that behind all this situation, has growing the demand to be part of some lucrative business, so in my personal opinion, some info issued by media are in some case manipulate to accomplish some "project".

One famous business rule ( especially in huge business) is to first create the demand then offer the solution/product.

I have not any medical knowledge to judge the data in term of clinic view, i can only compare some number that are issued by various source ( which one i can believe is always a dilemma) but when the info are so confused and in some case in contradiction even from  "authoritative" source, something is made to not solve the problem.

The covid does exist, ( until will be proved was not) but i don't realized yet why countries managed to deal with, the scientific/medical technology resource are huge, but seems virologists and or other scientists are  like deer dazzled by headlights....and still even nowadays.

Ok i know that Ebola as well many others deadly ill, still not defeated even after decades or more, but i never saw a such worldwide reactions like this time.

The set on my Mitsu Lancer approaching 70k and just over 7years old. . So the worry is their age and cracking / perishing but look ok. Front pair tread wear will mean replacing soon. Frankly I'm amazed. In France, my other home, I'm lucky to get 30k out of a set. But here apart from long distances with higher speeds more heavy braking perhaps  3 times a year, mostly trips are between 10 & 60 km. And overall  I drive much slower here, so less braking, than in France. Still can't believe it though!

As well here, i did 105000 km with original tyres on our Colorado pickup, in Italy i never went over 40/60000 km with  cars tyres.

Very similar driving behavior of you, i do believe that in a "Hot" weather countries the "standard" tyres are harder, less performing, but lasting anyway more.
