Harvesting the millet to day ,they were 2 of these Kubota combines ,

Filling the cloth bags ,a novel way ,opening the bottom auger door.

The sampel wife said  looked the same as sorgume ,which I suppose millet is ,one guy calls it Khow-Farng-Ki-Mog in Thai .sorgime in Thai is Khow- Farng

The grain was about 25-30% moisture ,I thought a clean sample, combine set up well ,or to do with the Axal-Flow on the Kubota combine ?,one for Farmerjo , a normal JD or Class combine would not produce a sample like this .

The guy on the left is from the seed company ,they are using cloth bags as the seed is going to India for Millet flour , where the original  seed for growing come from, the guy in the orange shirt is the crop owner ,he is getting 25baht/kg

whoever told u that was wrong--the irs website clearly states to file 3911 or call if u want to report missing stimulus payment

You can tell em that and I was also told that they would not mail out another check to Thailand.  Would have to use Form 8822 change of address. I believe very little on their website as that site from day one does not recognized my details and those details are the same as I give over the phone. The IRS is what is called FUBAR. Btw I will send at some time the 3911 to them. If all else fails I shall file it next tax year.

basically i had same as u--may 1 check but then i faxed the form 3911 to them middle of july--  then was allowed to add my bank info into irs website and now waiting payment date.   what does it say when u go to "get my payment"   website?

I just told that that form 3911 would not work for the stimulus check. But since I'm sending this by DHL I shall inclose it along with with form 8822. BTW that get your payment website has NEVER worked for me and every one I have talked to at the IRS agrees.

First of all, it is a question to those who have experience with dades, and what they gained of knownledge. I do very well they can not answer for our land or our soil, but general experience. Nobody plant dades around here as far we know.

I just do not understand your reply? Seems a bit harsh, unecessery and not helpfull at all. If it was so easy, why bother go here to try to ask questions and also read others experiences to learn and as well help each other.

One thing to know about farmer's cutting the rice stalks is that the rice stalks can grow back. I don't know exactly how it works but it's done often up in Surin because we have dry years too often. The picture above shows a farmer cutting really long stalks but usually what I see are farmers cutting shorter stalks so there may be a difference if the stalk hasn't grown too much it might still be able to grow back.

Anyways, the weather has been crappy for a decade with inspiring rains starting in May which the farmer usually start planting on followed by a break of usually three weeks to a month or so of drought again then followed by rains coming in from the typhoons or their remnants. This year the weather has been very dry and there hasn't been a lot of activity coming from the South China Sea area. They say the Atlantic hurricane season is going to be heavier than normal and that has yet to be seen. So, maybe Thailand's northeast will get heavy rains soon from typhoons out this way. There seems to be some polarization of the Atlantic and Pacific in the way big storms develop in my view. When they have a big one over in the Gulf of Mexico, we get something over here.

I'm in Kap Choeng/Surin and we are doing ok for rain, not fantastic but ok. The wife cut back last year on the rice only because it was just to much for so little. She took about 18 rai and turned it into her garden with a 50 meter square pond. She sells the produce in TOPS market Surin. This year we are getting more rain. It depends on your location.

I am aware that Thailand isn't taking in US tourists currently.  However, my friend has one of those US tourist visas good for 10 years and that allow (if I recall correctly) stays of 3 months at a time.  My question is whether or not she can travel here given the Covid situation?  Or is the USA baring entry for tourists entirely?  Any clarification would help - I see many conflicting or vague pages and I am not sure what to make of it.  Thanks.

This is not a tourist visa...

As with other non-immigrant U.S. visas, a B-1/B-2 visa has a validity period (from 1 month to 10 years), allows for one, two, three or multiple entries into the U.S., and elicits a period of stay (maximum 6 months) recorded by the Customs and Border Protection officer at the port of entry on the individual's form I-94.

My wife had one and each time we visited she was granted 6 months stay.
