Got up the courage yesterday to go and see what my neighbours were actually doing with their mist nets and turns out they are not eating the birds after all.
They are trapping the birds to sell.Seems they are good singers. They are small birds with a black crest and some red face feathers.

There are some rubber trees here in Sisaket but they sure don't look healthy. My thoughts were that they cannot produce as quickly as in the South and thus the rate of return must be far lower.
I shall go and ask the locals at what age they can tap here in Isaan,i'm sure its not five years.

I don't have a good feeling about this trial, think it could go the way of the trial of the son of that influential ex-policeman.Loads of witnesses there and forensic but he's out and about.

Buffalo fighting on Samui is quite the scene, too
That's sad. I thought those events on Samui were more of a pushing contest.

I was under the impression that rubber trees need year round water to thrive and that it was all the plantations are in the South.
In Isaan you would have to have a huge lake to supply a large plantation.

I noticed the other day Add Carabou said he loves his chickens like children and then he sticks them in a cock fight.

They should reconstruct it to how it was fifteen years ago and not just before the tsunumi.

I would say 10000/12000 a month is more than sufficient, although may need more if someone falls ill.

It certainly keeps the kids entertained of an evening.
Ones we have here are made in China.

Friends i have from the UK say that the problem is magnified by having a left wing government that is lax on immigration.

Definitely best to follow the Thai practices as far as signalling goes or otherwise you will confuse the poor bods crossing the road.

I would definitely avoid Khon Kaen and Korat.

The Hitachi SF range is very good and plays tunes when the washing is done.

You have a very expensive teak table and chairs but choose to eat all meals sitting on the floor.

Have always meant to pay a visit to Europe but this thread certainly does not paint a rosy picture at this time of year.

I wonder if i may tap the fountain of knowledge a little more and ask what the children are saying when they shout "sading, sading" at their small sister's comments.

Personally have not regretted a moment of my retirement here although you definitely need something to do.
Have seen many get bored only to return to their home country or previous occupation.
