I lived in Paris for five years....

I do speak fluent French , which does help.., as you will find they don't really speak English,,,

Like everywhere else it has its positives, my biggest gripe , was the Hastle to do anything, and the Service is nothing like we get here in Thailand,,,,

Lunch time was a right pain, as everywhere closes for Lunch so all the Cafes , Restaurants and Bakers were lines of people waiting to get in .....

as for Fench Food, I am strict Vegetarian, so France was DEFINETLY not Veggie friendly, they don't  quite get the concept....

Also Smoking is a big thing in France, so Lots of cigarette Ends everywhere ...

Not the cleanest of City's....., they love there dogs, but won't clean up after them...

Positives, The Metro is easy and cheap , and Paris unlike London is quite small so easy to get around the centre...., Lovely Architecture and Art etc etc....

would i I move back,...NO...., after living in Thailand, life is so much easier  and less Hastle..in a lot of respects....

Sunday in France , shuts down....

Strikes are the normal...., amd as a Nation, they are not the happiest souls.....

I could go on and on, but best try for yourself, and see if it suits.....

I did very well too.

But I would never buy again, too much of a risk........

But that's me.....

As for Brexit, I have noticed Property Prices especially in London seem to have gone flat....

real gal estate in that price bracket anywhere in Thailand, even in Bangkok...has a very limited market...

one mega upmarket Residence in Bangkok, I looked at about 5 years back, they are still trying to sell some of,the units there ????

He actually looked like. 50 Cent the singer....., Thug like appearance, but Excellent part he played, I loved the film......
