If she's really your friend continue to help her out and let her pass away here.
She wouldn't be able to live at a place for homeless people and the whole procedure might kill her.
I don't think that she wants to go back wherever that was. You could try to find some relatives who send her some cash from time to time.
Please leave the Immigration where it is.

The website is vague.
Who over 50 but under 65 for example would be receiving a State Pension?
They accept any form of income or proof of funds in a UK bank.
Personally I had to show the equivalent of 200,000THB in my UK account (3 month Visa duration) £4,000 approx.
Employment Prohibited....

I agree with this.
In other words, I disagree that former winners should be prevented from competing.
If you continually weed out previous winners, the competition just gets meaningless.
The POTY only really works when forum heavyweights like Transam, JingThing, Blether, David and Nancy line up and put on the gloves.
I for one would love to see Transam give Blether a blinding left hook. I'm sure Blether would respond with a well-timed uppercut, but might JingThing step in with an exquisite suckerpunch?
I was also wondering why Jing wasn't even on the list.

From my years of moderating on TV I don't believe that actual votes can be 'moderated out' . The moderators have been up front how many illegal duplicate members were discounted.
What about the "legal duplicate members?"
And why are guys like Sherryl excluded, people who've helped plenty of people?
Is it a popularity contest of people who've got the most posts, dots, likes, or is it actually based on what a member did for others?
Just curious and no intentions of offending anybody here.

Larger private hospitals have customers service staff who will assist their patients with obtaining medical extensions at Immigration and will even come to the local Immigration office with the patient. Some local Imm. offices can be quite specific about the exact format of the doctor's certification, etc.
There is NO LIMIT to how many med. extensions someone can receive. I know frail, elderly people here in Chiang Mai who have been on medical extensions for years. Every 90 days, like clockwork, someone from the assisted living center where they reside takes care of obtaining another medical extension for them and from time-to-time someone from CM Imm. goes out to see the patients just to be sure they still meet the criteria and haven't somehow gotten better and seemingly capable of travel.
A German man only had to send his wife with photos and got his extensions based on his medical condition. That went on for about 2 years.

Working without a working visa is against the law
My holy Christmas day kept me busy behind my screen for the whole day creating my work for tomorrow and reading your post again gave me some thoughts and a great idea, I don't want to keep for myself.
When I saw that you gave an obviously suicidal poster your very helpful advice that we all have to die, I thought you might consider a little change of your username by adding an i and an n right before your username.
Typing in a state where all humanity seems to be gone, it will help you to find yourself. G'night.

I sometimes pass a farang that is selling tissue paper on the sidewalk. I am not really in the tissue buying business on my way for my daily morning coffee, so I never checked with him what his P&L is and I am not sure if he is homeless, but there he is nevertheless.
But you could buy it and sell it as toilet paper.....

I do not agree that any one is happy as a homeless destitute alcoholic. We all are fortunate to have what we have and someone or many people have helped us all along our journey. While we make mostly good decisions all of us have done stupid things that could have been disastrous. All of us have been helped along the way to have a successful life. I have found many Thai people and expats to be empathetic and kind to others. Does not surprise me that the Thai woman fed the homeless man or gave him money. The ones of us with the least are often the most humble and thankful and generous. Not meant to slap on the ones that have much as many are good people. Just a lifelong observation that many people that have little possess great understanding and compassion for those that are living on the streets. We all could be there but for the help of others in our life. Peace ?
Any of us could have a stroke, a heart attack, lose our homes to somebody we once trusted and life can get pretty strange when somebody does a hit and run.
It's nice that there are people around who help others, instead of asking if he'd have a "work visa" for begging.

You're asking the same question already in post # 7. Is that all you can produce?
My friend's working without a working Visa. He lives at the 7 Eleven in Pattaya, right next to the snitchplace.

Honest, Not lying , financially independent, got her own job , never worked in a bar , doesnt have a child in the village to support , her whole life doesnt revolve around eating, drinking and watching TV , has some ambition in life , thinks about the future, rather than just thinking about the next thing they have to do .
That sort of thing .
Then you can build a relationship which can progress
But it can't progress if she's always updating her Farcebook page. Look what I had to eat today, oh, I feel lonely, hmm, I need more money, argh my boy -friend cheated on me, who can lend me some cash for a new nose and boobs, etc...pp.

A good one and I fully agree.
I do some voluntary work for an organization that helps certain nationals in emergency situations but I haven't seen anything that she needs a babysitter.
Reading the OP, I don't want to know her nationality. That would only be of interest if she'd need immediate help.
Can you imagine- if American- she might be sent to a "concentration camp" in the States by the helpful poster?
Or they might convict her to become a Mormon or similar? Let it be.....
