Trump says "america will never be a socialist country" while increasing social programs, signing "stimulus" that increases welfare (to individuals and corporations), and pushing for family leave plans that even Obama would blush at.

This November you can choose Trump or Biden but no matter who wins you will get John McCain.

As stated many times, its not a virus hit economy.  Its a government overreaction/overreach hit economy.   

Governments force people to stay in their homes and then the news reports how shocking the inevitable effects are.  Offices are not being emptied out due to "virus crises", they are being emptied due to government interference.  

Once all these private businesses and land owners go bankrupt, i wonder who might have the liquidity to come in and snatch it up at fire sale prices? ????

The virus didnt cause the job losses, the government reposition did.  Doesnt matter if you agree or disagree with the actions taken, the governments around the world need to own their decisions  

So if the public agrees with their totalitarian measures, they will tout the survey and use it as cover.  If however they dont get the responses they would like, it will be buried.

Economies don't "suffer" from deflation, governments do.   Deflation is good for people and companies.  The reduction in prices means increased consumption.  It also allows for more conservator investing.

Goveremts like inflation because it increases capital gains taxes not to mention only a government can inflate by printing currency which is a tax on everyone

So the government shuts down the economy of 60+ million people over 54 deaths.  Then asks "the rich" to do something to help.  

Too 50 Thais have a combines net worth of around 162 billion USD.  If you confiscated that entire amount and somehow managed to. iquidate it at market value (to whom I don't know since they would not want foreign ownership to many assets) it would give you about 70k Thai baht per person.  What happens when that money runs out?

The best thing the rich can do for the country is reopen their businesses.

Im curious, how is it that COVID cant be transferred from person to person inside of supermarkets and convenience stores?   

As I read the rules, i can go into a crowded grocery store full of strangers who may or may not be infected, but i cannot invite over a friend who i have solid reason to believe isnt.

As you clicked the "confused" EMOJI i thought to clarify.  Staying inside for long periods of time weaken (misspelled above) one's immune system.  Just like your body needs physical exercise or you become weak, your immune system needs to be continually tested or it becomes less effective.    So prolonging the quarantine, some experts suggest (and i agree), will make individuals more susceptible to illness once its lifted.   Humans are not designed to be indoors for great lengths of time.  People need fresh air, sunshine, and yes, exposure to bacteria and viruses.

Again, i think all of this is unnecessary/overkill.  If I was in charge i would allow individuals to make whatever choice suits them.  Provide accurate information and let people determine what risks are acceptable in their unique situation.
