Why don't you just use Line? Free voice and video calls if you have WiFi. ???????????? My wife uses it with daughters in the USA & Germany. Works fine.

We shipped a 20 foot container using Transpo, in my wifes name, of course. No hassle, no tax and Customs didn't even cut the seal on the container. Easy. But it wasn't cheap - 4,000 kg from US east coast. For us it was worth it. Good luck!
