  1. I drink on average once a week. "First drink of the day"!?!?!

If you're drinking every single day don't you feel you have a problem?

I personally can't drink more than once a week or I start to feel unhealthy. I can't imagine how run down your body must be adding alcohol to it every single day and not allowing it any time to recover

Depends how much they drink. 1-2 drinks a day is no big deal. For people like me who like to binge drink on Changs it can be a problem. I like to keep my drinking down to no more than once a week. I stay productive and feel healthy.

  2. Well me got no brain then cos I don t like Russians, I m a total dunce, but was back in the 80 s an airline jockey so I guess half a brain LOLs. Aside this fact lets look at the following, like Russians or no like Russians how in the name have they suddenly got rich enough almost overnight to come to Thailand,? can somebody enlighten me please, and in the thousands. A few years is overnight in my book and dispite whats said, I know for a fact Russians are very very poor as I know a guy who s a jet engineer who spends 8 months of the year in Moscow and your average Russian army colonel earns less than a cleaner in a UK supermarket, well upwards of a few dollars a month. If any of you type into your search engine Russian standard of living, you l see my point, so how do they get to Pattaya in their thousands.? There s a rat here somewhere, just dunno what yet. Is the Thai tourist authority subsidising seats from Moscow to BKK, cos i m sure the commie government isn t, and even to below cost air travel I am still totaly bemused as to how they get here. Remember Churchill who said socialism is the equal sharing of misery, in short comrads all earn similar wages and by all the thousands of Russians coming there must be a lot of high party officials around in Moscow to afford such a luxury. My point is, and a total shot in the dark, is Thailand one of the safer places to be in such turbulant times, what with a vast build up of Russian troops in and around Siria and Iran etc, do they know something we don t. Russia is in no way post communist, it still is communist, and Mr Putin is old school, HE DON T LIKE US, it remains as much of a threat as ever if not more so than the cold war days. As for Russian women been sexy, well yes stunning is a more appropiate term, however not any more than in my home town of Nottingham UK, where you see lovely young ladies in mini skirts off for a knees up, however its a bit usless really as you won t get anywhere with them cos they have those big strong mustle Russian men to look after them, and if you do find a willing commie, it won t half cost you and God help you if you don t pay lols.

Commodities bubble. That's how. All these high oil and gas prices are making them filthy rich. I'm kindof praying for the day when this bubble bursts. Getting kind of sick of it all.

  3. Mixx. Lots of East Europeans around and my favorite.

Be advised that many are with their boyfriends/husbands or are prostitutes. I'm sure if you have the money they'll be interested. 5k for a shorty is a bit high if you ask me.whistling.gif

  4. Yeah, it's seen better days. I'm sure in 20 years this place will NOT be the place to be and will be rather expensive. BUT I hear Africa is up and coming as a destination for the single man. I'm sure I'll be there enjoying my golden years of retirement(I'm 32 now). wub.png

  5. I'm sure the death rate is higher here but it also feels even higher because the news reports all the suicides. I don't think many suicides are reported by the news in farangland.

  6. WU -- a large corporation -- makes a LOT of money off of transfers to Thailand. I'd be surprised if a stop would be put to that.

I'm not sure they are a "banking institution". And what security they do focus on is not limited to terrorism or money laundering but internet fraud and "romance scammers" (I've heard there may be a few of those here in Thailand).

I sent money through the day before and it got sent but the same day I put in another transfer for a larger amount and it got blocked. Maybe they detected "fraud" on my account due to too many transfers in a short amount of time or some other silly reason and blocked it. I asked them but they refuse to tell me why. It's a big pile of nonsense if you ask me.

  7. I sent an western union online order from the US to my wife here and it says, " This money transfer was not approved. If you were charged for this money transfer, you will be automatically refunded.". What the hell? I have never seen such a message before.

I'm getting sick of this crap with american banking institutions. They're so "secure" they won't even me to withdraw my OWN money! Probably some terrorist bullslt. Annoy 100,000 customers to grab 1 terrorist or moneylaunder. What a joke that country has become.
