I'm pretty sure if the King of Thailand convinced his citizens that their country is in danger of being overrun by western powers they would surely get up and get shit done to prevent that. This is what happened in Japan.

Every ethnicity is smart and capable enough to get things going. There just has to be a reason for it.

Japan's reason was seeing Western powers conquering lands and even in their East Asian doorstep. So that's why the Japanese Imperial army started the Meiji Restoration and killed off old traditions and the Samurai.

This also led to them sending off people to study abroad and bring back western knowledge so then they could be powerful as them and not get conquered like their asian neighbors.

I think the whole freelancer, working online, stock trader question would not just help a lot of us, but would also help the Thai government receive tax income and also have people that earn money spend money in Thailand. Please bring this up.

1) Could they review or come up with a visa that will benefit expats earning income from oversea and wishes to pay taxes and also call thailand their home away from home ? since getting PR status is a long and tides process

 

2) If NOT Will they review and maybe come up with a installment plans for ppl to purchase thai elite card (i know people will say there is gonna be ppl abusing this if so. Maybe come out with somthing like 3 mths review just like the ED visa. and for those who didnt made their payment the visa would be cancel ?)

Also, the Thai person on the receiving end has their name in Thai characters. Would you put it in Thai characters on the sending end or in English?

If you look at it from a banking viewpoint there's no reason why the transfer can't be made to anyone, the funds will go to the account number you supply regardless of whether it belongs to you or somebody else.

But if you look at it from a US control standpoint, I don't know, does the US care that one of its citizens is sending money to a Thai national for example, they shouldn't, but....!

Except it's just a regular ACH transfer from ones American bank to another different Thai person BB.

Or can an American send to a thai person with a Bangkok bank account?
