  1. I always seem to get these responses from you.

Yes I am far from those markets and the reason why I asked Thaivisa after I searched on google is because I didnt think I can find things like Wood Pellets or your daily sunday morning english newspaper.

    Thanks for your response though.

2300 posts in his first six weeks.

What kind of response would you expect?

  3. It ain't no rocket science, is it?

''westernised Thai girls'' are Thai girls whom are similar to girls in western countries. The more they act and think like our western sisters in western countries, the more ''westernised'' they are.

Yeah so what's your explanation of a non westernized girl you.

I'm guessing they are less demanding, less "prima donna", etc.

  4. can I get some info on the ADD/ADHD part? I want to show it to some friends.

You would be the first American I have ever met who did not refrigerate eggs. What country did you grow up in?

New York, but what's geography got to do with anything?

I've already stated very clearly I think the American germ-phobic fetish for over-sterilization has caused many public health problems not found in other countries.

In most earlier-developed environments you have to consciously stress your immune system by exposing yourself and your family to pathogens in order to keep it strong.

Here in Thailand you just live like the locals and that healthy aspect gets taken care of for you without having to do anything special.
  5. Being here for 7 months we can't bring that much cash! 12000 baht a time is the most we're allowed to withdraw from an ATM in a day. On the one occasion we went to the teller and asked to withdraw 20000 baht, she just escorted us to the ATM (where we could only withdraw 12000). She just shrugged her shoulders and went back to her desk.

Sent from my GT-I8552 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Open a thai bank account and transfer required funds as and when.

Unless you transfer a large sum, the fees for an international transfer are worse than the 150 charge.

if you use Bangkok bank, then have transfer done thru your bank to Bangkok bank thru the new york routing codes... then it appears in your Bangkok Bank acct here, with something like a 50 baht service charge (very small, at any rate) from the NY branch office... many expats (me included) been doing this for years

I thought they dont let foreigners open a bank account with transfer abilities?
