That's the only way to try to keep the workers Honest.

It's actually only one of many ways; and not very effective.  A till that is never short may make the owners think everything is good and nobody is taking money from the till.  However, there are numerous ways to defraud the system and make a tidy profit.  There are digital analysis systems that spot fraudulent behaviour and create alerts for loss prevention teams or management to act on; every retail operation is vulnerable.  I have seen videos of staff at one outlet in UK taking approximately 40k Stg out of the till, which always balanced.  This was their flagship store with all management and returns setting exemplary standards for others.

According to Thai law (VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROTECTION ACT B.E. 2550) neither should be named.

    Section 9

Upon information under section 5 or complaint under section 6, no person may print, publish or distribute to the public by whatever means any picture, account or information likely to negatively affect the person committing the act of domestic violence or the domestic violence victim who is party to a case under this Act.

Any person who contravenes the provision of paragraph 1 shall be liable to imprisonment for not more than six months, or a fine of not exceeding sixty thousand baht or both.

It was on news China has 226 million (!) who are traveling.....

And now they can to come here too.

"China saw 226 million domestic trips during the Lunar New Year holiday, state media reported, a 74% surge from last year after the government."

Those domestic trips would be mostly migrant workers returning to home villages and provinces for the first time in a few years.  That was previously not allowed due to the strict covid policies banning internal travel.

it is most definitely possible to get stamped out at suvarnabhumi and then get the re-entry permit.  you don't have to do it first.  if there isn't much of a line for the immigration desks, i go through there first.

i've done it three times in the last 15 months and only waited for the officer to put the stamp in the passport (about 5 minutes).  zero wait at the counter where i paid the 1,200thb.  two of these were mid afternoon and one was around 9pm.

Very similar to my experience at Suvarnhabumi. I asked at airline check in and immigration processing and was simply instructed to Zone 2, go up the slope against the flow of people entering departure area and then to reentry permit. This has been successful for me 3 times in last 6 weeks.
