Very frequently, the webpages do not load. It happens randomly. Sometimes I have to retry more than 10 times or have a coffee break. It started happening occasionally,  2 weeks ago, but it is getting worst every day.

It doesn't seem like a connectivity issue, because Skype, IPTV, YouTube or any streaming service do not have any interruption, so I think that it must be the DNS servers.

I have tried 3 different laptops with Firefox, Chrome and MS Edge. One of them with fresh installed Windows. It doesn't seem like an issue on my side.

I have called them 3 times, talked 4 times on the chat, and they have already come to replace the Gigatex router. But the issue is not solved.
 

Anyone else experimenting these problems with True?

How much do you pay for a ride from Pantip Plaza to Siam Paragon?

They asked for 60 and I complained, but there were around 10 taxi-bikers all them shouting "sixteee!" at unison. Is that farang price? A taxi for that short ride is around 45, without traffic jam.

Am I right in thinking that I can get the Nexux 7 (2013, possibly LTE??) or Samsung Tab 8 easily in the shops in BKK. Currently in Chiang Mai and none too sure about availability.

I've asked everywhere in BKK, from MBK to the durian markets, and I couldn't find the Nexus 7.

I finally bought it from Lazada for 7,608 THB (WiFi only). Delivered in just 2 days.

Hi. I have been today at MBK and I could not find the Nexus-7 2013 WiFi + LTE 32 GB. I asked at many shops, and one of the sellers assured me that it was not in stock at any shop on MBK (they all go to ask somewhere else and they come back after few minutes).

Lazada doesn't have the LTE model. Anyone know where can I find it? Perhaps at Pantip Plaza?

Surely if they announced this with the govt and kept both side separated, then everyone would be happy. But now it still looks like another power play.

Probably because the govt was not interested in peace? 1) caretaker minster's adviser caught transporting M16 war weapons, 2) CAPO states they will protect reds who are not being attacked!, but adds "we believe violent attacks against the PRDC will (should?) continue!" (dozens killed, 100s wounded, blah, blah). Just guessing here, I don't think the government thought peace was in their own personal interest, but M16s were.

I agree totally. Drag them kicking and screaming but still leave them there until an election can be held. Use the military to safeguard the election to reduce the cheating that happens on both sides.

The consequences of the military taking over will not be good for the people of Thailand

Whatever the consequences, they will surely be better than more people dying or getting injured from the never-controlled violence.

Why? They have just cut one of the supplies of poison that was calling for violence. That is a matter that seriously affects the security of the citizens.

The talks are deadlocked but they have been for months now so I wonder why now?

Maybe suteps threat for his last final push to get a million on the streets which was just another hollow threat however the reds reaction of heading to bangkok might have swayed them to act but why now?

Quite clearly the bias is once again been shown by the army shutting the red tv channel while the yellow channels are free to operate .

The reaction from the reds is going to be interesting as sutep has been allowed free reign in bangkok for 6 months now and all his allies or what he thought were allies in the end did not back so it upped the ante once again.

I don't know why the military moved now as I don't see what's going to achieve in the long run instead of making a bad situation worse.

Beauty Queen Apologises For "Dirty Reds" Remark

BANGKOK — The winner of Miss Universe Thailand has apologised for the hateful comments she posted about pro-government Redshirts on social media.

Weluree "Fai" Ditsayabut, 22, said on a Channel 3 talk show this morning that she is distressed by the wave of criticism her posts have generated.

"It is still fortunate that I have people around to cheer me up," she told talk show host Sorayut Suthasanajinda.

Hours after Ms. Weluree was crowned winner of the popular Miss Universe Thailand beauty pageant on Saturday night, it was quickly discovered that she had a history of publishing disparaging comments about Redshirts on Facebook and Twitter.

In one particularly harsh comment from November, Ms. Werulee described the Redshirts as "anti-monarchy," "dirty" "evils" who should be "executed."

In an interview this morning, Ms. Werulee confirmed that despite the uproar her comments have caused, she will not concede the pageant crown. She explained that she intended the remarks for "a circle of close friends," and not members of the public.

"I was careless. I was young. I did it recklessly," Ms. Werulee said, adding that she has learned a lesson from the incident and that she intends to use all the criticism she has received to improve herself.

"It won't happen again. Let me apologise to all the fans of the pageant, and to all Thais," said Miss Universe Thailand 2014.

Speaking after Ms. Werulee, beauty pageant runner-up Pimbongkod "Ellie" Chankaew denied rumours that she cried on stage out of bitterness when judges announced Ms. Werulee as the winner.

When judges annouced Ms. Wurlee as the winner, many of Ms. Pimbongkod's disappointed fans cheered her name instead.

"At that moment, I was so glad and overwhelmed by the people who loudly cheered for me," Ms. Pimbongkod said. Ms. Pimbongkod, who was raised in the United States, said she never expected to come this far in the tournament.

"I didn't expect that someone from a foreign country and virtually unknown [to the Thais] would receive so much support," Ms. Pimbongkod said. "I thought Thai people dislike those who don't speak Thai well. That's why I cried. I wasn't upset. I accept the judges' verdict."
