I need to move my entire households from almost 10 years of living to another condo and probably need a 6 wheel truck to do that.

Anyone knows a good company that will come and pack it all up and move it and knows their prices?

This applies to main branches but satellite branches such as in malls will normally be operating.

Does that mean they will credit overseas transactions on monday and tuesday?

Is the coming Monday to Wednesday a bank holiday?

Friend of mine got a divorce while being on a extension based on marriage.

His extension is valid for another 5 months and his divorce was 2 months ago. From my understanding the day he divorced he had 24 hours to leave the country, correct?

He claims the Amphur doesn't report to immigration and he will just fly out without a re-entry permit and come back on a tourist visa.

Is he right or does he have to pay an overstay fine? I think he is taking a gamble here.

Just ask any store in MBK and they will get it for you from another vendor.

Why not just spend 1-2 nights in Bangkok and get it there? No need for any of this 'police clearance' stuff.

There are no rich people in jail. Even if he gets sentenced, it won't be him doing the time.

Don't know the guy, but I read Andrews site and from the looks of it, the guy really just got taken for a ride and couldn't deal with his temper which isn't really hard to understand if you're taken to the cleaners by some con man.

Yes, also on the darkside, had True for 12 months and got worse each month, dropping out and in all the time. They used to come round but of course never managed to witness the problem. Anyway, changed to 3BB and that has been far better.

My Thai partner just rang True (for the umpteenth time) and told them we wanted to cancel. The girl at True pleaded to give them more time to fix the problem, but I think I'll go into True tomorrow and cancel, I just can't tolerate their incompetence any longer. Where are the 3BB offices in Pattaya?

Yeah, 70-80k for a family with a kid or two. Not that cheap if income is Thai standard, basically +-0 left to save. Fine if income is western level.

Crazy low if you're trying to raise a family! Most decent 2 bedroom condos will start at 45,000 baht / month - just like houses - but those are far out.

70-80k pays my rent + utilities and I didn't have a meal yet. I wish I could go back to being single and live in a studio but those days are looooong gone.

Had the same questions a few months ago when coming back from Japan - 'How long you stay this time ?'.

Told the I/O maybe 1-2 weeks, he didn't say another word and stamped 30 days VOA in my passport.
