Alcohol Sale Hours in Restaurants Under Review in Thailand
It's not a bug, it's a feature. This way you can gain revenue from all different sorts of parties before finally deciding which envelope is the thickest for now and the future. It's the same with pretty much everything, they'll protect the big families and their monopolies over anyone else. If you haven't figured out by now that you're living in an oligarchy, you need to get your eyes checked.

Thai-Cambodian Border Tensions Rise Over New Landmines
Wow, you've really swallowed it hook, line and sinker. "Thailand has already accepted going to the ICJ twice and have respected both verdicts." LOL. How about this then? Defence Minister Phumtham Wechayachai on Wednesday reaffirmed Thailand’s policy of not recognising the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to safeguard the country’s sovereignty...He clarified that a Cabinet resolution under the Srettha Thavisin administration, passed on March 12, 2024, and formally circulated to all government agencies on March 19, 2024, mandates that all international treaties must include a clause stating Thailand’s refusal to accept ICJ jurisdiction to safeguard the country’s sovereignty. The Nation, 4 June 2025 Perhaps you have reading comprehension issues, or maybe you are in a silo of misinformation? Who knows? All we can judge is your words, which are clearly incorrect and are spouting misinformation, or as it's more commonly known, lies. Besides, why would the Thai NOT want a larger monitoring team when they're complaining about all these clear and obvious violations that you write of? Oh, and then, finally, we get the ol' "ICJ's impartiality is highly dubious", because of COURSE they're in favour of Cambodia, who are one-fifth the size of Thailand and for whom all five permanent members of the Security Council have higher trade with and more citizens visiting Thailand and...do you even ready what you write yourself and believe it? Your "case" is that they are protecting the reputations of the people who were running the ICJ back in the 1960s and wouldn't therefore consider any claims by Thailand on their merits? I am guessing you are both not a lawyer nor have any idea about international courts. Thailand tried, Thailand lost. Or perhaps you have some other dubious excuse? Firing indiscriminately on civilian targets as if the Thai have found the secret to perfect military targeting - anyone firing anything at anyone else is likely firing on civilian targets as you should hopefully understand. Or not, as you seem to accept whatever the Thai government is printing, perhaps you're right, they're the most technically and technologically advanced military on earth, better than Israel and the USA who also can't seem to avoid firing indiscriminately upon civilian populations during their wars. Using banned mines? How about dropping cluster munitions? Scam centers - thank goodness none of that sort of nonsense occurs in Thailand, a place noted for the sanctity of rule of law. Especially when it comes to human trafficking and slave labour! Enjoy your fish. Just wrapping up, I think your level of English was quite good, so kudos to the Thai Government for finally getting some skilled workers to do their dirty work for them - hope you're not trapped in some boiler room op and unable to escape! On your next post, start the first three sentences with S then O then S and see if you can encode your location in there. If you're NOT being forced to write this, then I don't know what to tell you except to get a VPN and start reading some news sources beyond those curated by your government. I'd suggest the latest one by Luke Hunt on The Diplomat for starters, it's a pretty succinct summary of the shenanigans of General Bunsin.

Thai-Cambodian Border Tensions Rise Over New Landmines
Which was swallowed whole by some gullible people. Who rejected international monitoring of the area again? Was it Cambodia? Who rejected the impartial ICJ? Was it Cambodia? Who wants international monitors who will report the real situation and prevent these incidents and who doesn't? Is it Cambodia? Open your eyes and read something other than That propaganda. Oh right, who's blocking outside news from reaching the Thai public? Is it Cambodia?

Thai-Cambodian Border Tensions Rise Over New Landmines
Yes, strangely enough, when you undertake a border incursion and go into another country's territory and cross previously understood and accepted (by international courts) borders, you are likely to encounter defensive fortifications such as landmines. Such weak sauce they're desperately throwing out there now that it's apparent to pretty much all neutral observers what is really going on behind the scenes. Suggest reading the story in The Diplomat by Luke Hunt for those who don't know yet.

Thai Sectors Struggle as Cambodian Workers Exit
When narcissists in power hunger for more and are willing to sacrifice others and longstanding friendly relations for their own benefit, this is what happens. Parallels developments elsewhere and wouldn't be surprised if those are somewhat connected. Just waiting for the inevitable coup so they can try to get back to "bidness as usual". Looks like they'll try a parliamentary coup first of course, wouldn't be surprised to see them slipping a certain someone who used to be military and a PM in through the back door. Let's just make sure that gravy train keeps rolling! Whatever happens, don't let those who are voted for get into power and govern for the benefit of the country as a whole!

Knee Replacement
I had a hip replacement and a friend had a knee replacement at Bangkok International Hospital, Dr. Phonthakorn Panichkul - he's trained in Canada, up-to-date on the latest techniques, nothing but great things to say about the experience and result. Pro tip - get quotations from several hospitals including Vejthani and Saint Louis because several of the best specialists also do operations once a week at these places for lower costs. Better Pro Tip - after getting the quotations and understanding the range of options, get back to your preferred option and note that you're limited in budget so are going to go for one of the cheaper hospitals but you'd much prefer theirs, is there anything they can do on the cost? I was able to save SIGNIFICANT amounts of money by doing this. They WILL actually haggle if you ask quite often.

The 2000 MoU states that the two parties have to follow the 1907 maps
Yes, what a difficult and complicated case! Let's see...longstanding discussions, international involvement, clear agreements signed by both parties on how to resolve it and on what basis. But suddenly Thailand wants to settle this bilaterally and without reference to what they already agreed long ago? And this is suddenly such an important and high priority right at the same time that the Army and Amaart are itching for a coup to put them back where they think they belong - illegitimately behind the steering wheel ignoring the same democratic standards and norms that they already agreed to. See any common threads here? Now we'll watch them gee up a bunch of manufactured outrage with the usual suspects and raise the temperature until they have whatever fig leaf required to do what they've already long decided they were going to do. Pathetic.

Two anti-vax articles out of three this morning? Someone left the nutty moderator in charge. Is Rattlesnake a mod?

Dr. James Thorp: "I vaccinated all my children. Why? Because... I was an idiot"
I agree. We need to cull those stupid enough to take these idiots at face value and who continue to pollute the public discourse with nonsensical conspiracy theories from nutters. Can't happen soon enough! Hope you've eschewed these horrible poisons too.

Making waves: Miss Grand Roi Et turns up heat with sexy swimwear
That's some ethical posting there, thanks! My goodness, they should do the catwalk with the team of surgeons who constructed each contestant. Could find better looking candidates in any go-go bar in Bangers, plus they'd be somewhat more composed of organic material.

British lawyer latest to fall in Laos alcohol poisoning tragedy
I'm guessing you're not of the same age and crowd as the unfortunate victims so hardly at risk. But yes, whenever I see any tragedy happen anywhere to anyone, I immediately cross that country off of my list. That's why I haven't left my house in forty years!

Trump Fires Back at ‘Lowlife’ John Kelly After Damaging Remarks
Speaking of liars who continuously lie about the easiest things in the world to check...that would be YOU I'm talking about. So when did Kelly first report about Trump's disparaging comments about the military? https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/john-kelly-confirms-trump-privately-disparaged-us-service-members-vete-rcna118543 Read the date, 3 October 2023. You are a liar.

Harris Jabs Trump at Al Smith Dinner with pre Recorded Video Message
You guys really think that lying about stuff then posting will work? It's worked for Trump, so why not us? I guess? Rather than continue after paramedics assisted the two people, Trump instructed his staff to just play music from a playlist he has personally curated and famously often turns on during dinners at Mar-a-Lago. “Who the hell wants to hear questions?” Trump said at the event where the entire point was to take audience questions. “Right?” What followed was more than 30 minutes of Trump swaying on stage and occasionally doing his well-known two-handed dance to some of his favorite tunes, chatting with the event's host, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, and occasionally interacting with attendees who were seated behind the stage. “This is the weirdest church service I have ever been to,” a first-time rallygoer who did not give their name told NBC News of the music portion of the event, which opened with “Ave Maria.” https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trumps-bizarre-music-session-reignites-questions-mental-acuity-rcna175464

Harris Jabs Trump at Al Smith Dinner with pre Recorded Video Message
For those who are his base, sure. For the rest of us, it was small-minded and snarky, without any grace befitting the occasion - a Catholic charity event. Mind you, I can't blame you for your enthusiasm. It's a hell of a lot better than some old guy dancing around to music for half an hour during a so-called "Town Hall" event.

Harris Jabs Trump at Al Smith Dinner with pre Recorded Video Message
So why did Trump choose this scripted event rather than cancel his interviews? Kamala went on Fox and eviscerated their hostile interviewer Bret Baier. Why is Trump afraid to go live now? Why did he have a towel under him during his friendly questioning on Fox and Friends?

U.S. Seeks to Weaken Hezbollah’s Grip on Lebanon Amid Israeli Offensive
This is blatant misinformation. Hezbollah is a proxy for Iran and has very little support from large swaths of the Lebanese population. You seem to be in favour of a country hundreds of miles away arming and supporting a particular religious group to destabilize and overthrow the democracy they're within in order to wage geo-political war against their enemy who are also hundreds of miles away.

Donald Trump’s New Tax Promise: Eliminating Income Taxes for Americans Abroad
You forgot about selling state secrets to Russia. Remember the spate of deep plants suddenly dying by the dozens when he was Prez? Coincidence, right? And do you take thousands of documents from your place of work after you leave and store them in your bathroom at your house afterwards without telling anyone...and they contain highly classified FYEO documents?

Donald Trump’s New Tax Promise: Eliminating Income Taxes for Americans Abroad
Yet it only seems to matter to people like yourself. Wonder why?

Donald Trump’s New Tax Promise: Eliminating Income Taxes for Americans Abroad
Mixed race I guess would be the designation. That bother you also? Hopefully Kamala's Presidency will lead America to a kinder and gentler place even before the racist boomers die off.

Donald Trump’s New Tax Promise: Eliminating Income Taxes for Americans Abroad
For once he's showing some sense and planning for the future. Like always however, it's for his own future, nothing to do with anyone else. Once he's been tossed into the dustbin of history after he gets his butt kicked in the election by an ethic woman, he's surely heading for Russia or anywhere other than America, a place he clearly despises as he says in practically every location he goes. So he's greasing the skids so that he doesn't get taxed in America from whichever dictatorship offers him sanctuary. By the way, where are those budget hawks that our RW friends inevitably turn into once the Democrats win the election? Aren't you concerned about the deficit all this tax-cutting will result in? You do know that Trump raised the deficit by over $4 Trillion when he was President, right?

Harris Voices Outrage in Interview with Howard Stern
You left out the rest of it, here, I'll do it for you. ...and so I unconditionally support the guy who openly disparages those same people and whose party regularly cuts benefits from the soldiers who return. And whose policies will do even LESS for the disabled military veterans should they get into power and enact their agenda. https://www.military.com/daily-news/opinions/2024/08/12/republican-project-2025-takes-dead-aim-veterans-health-and-disability-benefits.html

Harris Voices Outrage in Interview with Howard Stern
Okay, that's good to know. I will remind you of this from this point onwards. You do realize you have just invalidated every and any point you have made or will make so long as there isn't video evidence of same, right? I fear for your sanity once AI video becomes impossible to distinguish from real video. BTW, General Kelly was referring to more than John McCain though. "A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them,'" Kelly said of Trump. "A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’ A person who demonstrated open contempt for a Gold Star family — for all Gold Star families — on TV during the 2016 campaign, and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France.”
