ive used a variety of creams and gels also vaseline i even carry a small jar with me, the best cream was one i got from the hospital for my feet it did'nt say what it was but i guessed it was lanolin or woolfat but when i went back for more they said they did'nt have any more so im trying alternatives.

walked past there twice yesterday and no dog in sight(mountains and molehills come to mind).
-
i live in yensabai condo and the only dog ive seen outside the cafe is always laid down with its nails painted and it does have a collar, ive never been in said cafe cos i dont eat dead animals but the dog seems very inoffensive to me and never bothers anyone (perhaps not same dog but its the only one ive seen reguarly).

thinking about having a fitted wardrobe in my condo, can anyone reccomend anybody that does this work, phone numbers please and it would help if they spoke some english. thanks in advance.
-
i want to try this cream but i dont want to send my details and be pestered with calls so if anyone can tell me where to buy it i would be greatful to them.

thanks for the imput, ive now bought a fizik arione also new shorts with thicker padding. since buying the seat ive just done 50klms and im feeling fine with no soreness but as i said before it seems to start after a few days so im keeping my fingers crossed and hope it cured the problem.
-
i already have several pairs of shorts, ive never seen any seats by tune komm vor could you tell me where you bought it and how much it was.Saddles are a very personal thing, I went through a lot of them. Tried fizik because quite a few people said they were great, but it didn't work well for me. So I bit the bullet and got a Tune Komm Vor, I won't be looking for anything else anymore. Also like Villagefarang mentioned, a good pair of bike shorts makes a world of difference.

ive had several inexpensive seats and they all are ok for a few dats then start to hurt like hell so my question is it worth paying 8000 baht for a good one or will they be the same after a few days, ive been looking at fizik seats but i dont want to waste a lot of money if its not going to be a solution.

last week 1st march i bought a new bike its a 2012 giant tcr1 all carbon frame at bike shop in sri racha they were very good and made a few alterations to suit me with discount it came to 43000 baht. ive not rode anything to compare it with but it seems fast and comfortable very light(just what i was looking for) ive already done 900 klms in eleven days and up to now it seems a good buy, i plan to go from pattaya to kho chang in the near future otherwise ive just been on local rds with odd rides to baengsean and sattahip anyway ill let you know how i get along with it.

yes i think the sign on the sri racha side has been there awhile (just not noticed it before) but there is no sign on the lam chabang port flyover.
-
i regularly go on that road by bicycle for exercise and only noticed the sign yesterday but luckily no police were there, today i went down the side road to be on the safe side.

If you want it and can afford it, and it fits you, buy it. That's my advice.
That last 5% of speed, smoothness and reliability costs a lot of money. That's true on cars, golf clubs, fishing rods, watches, smartphones, and bicycles. Probably true on a lot of other items, but I don't know about them.
For myself, if that's the bike listed on the TV classifieds, I live with the satisfaction that my bike is 95+% as fast, and probably just as comfortable (to me) and I paid less than 1/8 the price listed. In fact, all my bicycles are faster than I am, so any additional money would have been better spent on training and not equipment.
Only you can decide whether it's worth it to you. But once you've made the purchase, just enjoy it and don't look back.
I believe you need some advice. 500km seems a high weekly mileage for a person who is pretty basic about bikes! Well done!
The most important thing about a bike is how it fits the rider, is this bike the right size for you?
Once you have answered that question then you can decide whether to buy or not.
tes i agree its pretty high mileage, i started off wanting to lose weight and get my blood pressure down now its an obsession and i love it, getting back to the bike today i called into the bike shop in sri rasha and got a good price quoted for a new giant tcr 1 so im still weighing my options up, anyway thanks for your imput ill probably make my mind up in the next few days.

Obviously, the questions are, what components does it have and how much is he asking? I've seen bikes like this go for 45000 baht in the US on eBay, etc.it has ultrega brakes and gears and he says his bottom price 65000 baht which is more than i want or can afford to pay although im very tempted to go overboard for it.

hi im looking for some advise, i have an older trek 2100 and do 500 klms per week and want to upgrade to a faster more comfortable bike, ive been offered a trek madone 5.9 its a 2004 bike but the owner assures me its only done 50 klms, it looks like a new bike and rides really well th few klms ive test ridden it, the owner wants a fair few baht for it but id like to be sure about so decided to seek some advise first. thanks in advance.

i dont have a lease agreement as the house is in my wifes name i usually give them my internet bill, i hope its not changed cos i know they like to change a system that does'nt need changing.I agree entirely with the OP. I was at immigration last week for my retirement extension and re-entry visa.My time inside the office was somewhat longer due to a lot ahead of me at counters 1 and 2 for the permit. Nevertheless all the Thai officers were efficient and professional. I got my stamps as all my papers were in order.
However:
The information officer seemed stressed. Maybe the very tight winkle pickers he was wearing were uncomfortable. (For those not around in the 1960's that means shoes with pointed toes).
But worst of all was "jobsworth". Talk about self important. I don't believe his first language is English as his politeness skills are wanting and he was begrudging in giving me my queue ticket. Later when I was seated in the waiting area he was walking passed me staring at me and scowling.
i suspect he is something like ex police and treats others as criminals.
I would urge anyone who gets poor treatment from him to make a complaint to the head of immigration.
Its a pity they cannot bring back Barry Kenyon and I do wonder why these odd balls namely jobsworth get employed.
ps for the retirement extension they require prove of address(eg lease copy). Luckily I brought such a copy but some there did not and seemed to be taken by surprise.

the thai guy at the front desk has been there 23yrs and has always been like that (i thought it was me who he did'nt like for some reason or other) he seems to have a real attitude so i try to ignore him and advise others to do likewise as you dont want a problem if it can be avoided.
