TM30?
Would expect so but not sure, let someone else with experience to comment.
I always use house book copy for everything immigration as it proven to work. Did not copy tm30 for my application and not asked.

Even for residence certificate, was copy enough, thought you needed photo on that.
What did you need for the residence permit at immigration and how much was it.?
Yes copy ok for the 2nd, one original enough. 300 baht for immigration. I recall immigration wanted 2 photos (1 stapled to certificate, 1 for their files) , and usual set of copies of passport pages incl entry stamp visa tm6, and something to prove your address (utility bill, house book or something like that)

These surveys are as meaninful for most people as information about average salary in Thailand. They represent comparable reality in a specific niche of the market (typically in the big company expat family with company full benefit package). Equally relevant for many countries, not only Bangkok/Thailand. Recall seeing these already 20yrs ago when living in China - we had staff in very different housings with most expensive being more than 10x the cheapest. In undeveloped places western quality premium housing tends to be very expensive, whereas housing for local relevance is many times very cheap, actually with very large price spectrum even within those. Bangkok is pretty similar to Beijing and Shanghai, with very large spread between different types of housing Average does not have much meaning.

My Mrs surprised me by procuring some spare part for a Hatari fan the other day, ordered in on Shopee. Never thought that could be done when a new fan itself might only be 700-800 baht. Problem Shopee is for Thai language, so if you have a Mrs who is on the phone a lot, ask her to try.
Off-topic, but Hatari also has very good and cheap spare parts service of their own, can just send line message to them what you need, pay to bank, and couple of days later parts arrive. Any part you want, they have.
Actually most appliance manufacturers here have well working spare parts service of their own, and parts usually fairly priced. Thus, often better contact the manufacturer service first, if they dont have the parts probably nobody has unless not model specific commodity part like capacitor etc

One comment re transportation - living at the bottom of Pratamnak soi 5 myself, this area is not really convenient if you don't ride motorbike (or car, personally just dont like to use car in city area unless carry something that cant do with bike) as a bit far from songtao routes - but of course plenty of moto taxis and bolt will take you around if that is ok for you. Up in soi 5 and 6 near Pratamnak road is fine as you can walk to Thapparaya to catch songtao. But if you ride, then the bottom area is good as have everything you need without need to go anywhere really - and is quiet, easy walk to beach too. But if access to public transportation has value, might be worth to limit the area within walking distance to Thapparaya or Jomtien beach road. Still many many options to choose for this price within 200m of those roads (where songtaos go). The area around ViewTalay 1, 2 and 5 as an example, those blocks alone must have tens of choices ticking all your wishes, and if you like smaller places have many such too (though if low floors seaview might be issue). Foodmart, Rompho fresh market, beach and bus to airport and even immigration within few minutes walk too. Only thing that is a bit further is hospital really!

Thailand seems to have their own scale for IQ which is understandable as othrerwise they would be offset quite a bit towards left on the distribution curve. Wonder how the 130 compares to mensa scale... Maybe 100 on mensa scale?

I had one in Bangkok pattaya hospital couple of years ago. Recall paid about 19k baht. Probably can get cheaper in some other hospitals.

Even sleeping on the wheel they can not say straight, rather use some stupid term... microsleep... Maybe makes them feel better to avoid admitting the real truth of sleeping on the wheel.

The regulations are still in force so the police appear to be out and about doing their job. They don't make up these rules, nor decide when to stop enforcing them.
Went to "inspect" WS on Friday night- seems all but one place closing at 11pm., and that place jam packed after 11, still going strong 0045 when I left.
Now, the question is whether rules for that (very popular) place are different, or police decide when to stop enforcing rules. Must be one or the other right... My guess is the other 555

Better yet all those he forced to drink his jism should give him a glass full of theirs for him to drink.
Oh yes a cocktail made of little bit of each of the victim. Undiluted.
And not as a shot, rather a mug with a small straw to suck so that can not get it straight to throat!

My wife cannot get anyone to come and clean my AC units, but I live up country, I just don't know what to do about it.
....well, buy the AC cleaning equipment (water sprayer and the plastic to drain water down to bucket) and let her do it, is simple and easy though little messy thus few bother for the 4-500 baht.
And might actually miraculously help her to find somone to do the job for her...

Renewed my 5yr licenses yesterday. Works like this in Pattaya currently:
1. Need to go DLT office to make appointment (not aware of possibility to online or by phone). Rode there and got appointment in 2wks.
2. Watch the 1hr online education program and print the certificate at the end. No issues, just need the one hr. Get medical certificate (100 baht) and residence certificate (300 baht)
3. Actual appointment (for me 2.30pm, option also 9AM). Only test was color blindness test. In-out about 2hr+, mostly waiting... (for test, for payment, for photo, for license). Not too bad.
Cost 255 for moto and 505 for car, total 760 for the two. About 20+ people there so not crowded (maybe because last day before songran holidays?), much better experience than before with the disorganised herds filling the 2nd floor area, now much more comfortable. Had they possibility to book online, it would be as good as it can be in Thailand...
Documents needed see pic (got this when made appointment). Residence cert and medical cert one original is ok, 2nd can be copy i.e no need to pay for two even if two licenses. Full set of document copies needed for each license.

Stopped by this place the other dayto get the paper for my renewal, 100baht, 5 min in-out. They actually took my blood pressure, and asked to talk to an older man in office who asked if i ever had operation or take medicines.
i recall 5yrs ago got from the clinic in the hanuman intersection in jomtien, recall paid 150baht. I recall the only words used were 150baht and pick afternoon, no questions asked.
without further statistics on the market, it appears that the less words need to use inside the shop, the more you have to pay! Either way, the whole thing is just another (im)practical joke.
The renewal document checlkist that you get when you book your appointment lists the certificate as required document in Pattaya, but I guess the only way to really know if it is mandatory is to try go without it and see if you can walk out with new license.
I recall when living in China before, I did not even need to show up myself to the clinic to get the certificate, my driver just went and got it for me with my passport, might well work here too...

I was asked once when the requirement came. My friend had done and showed photo but I told them OK we skip because worried they report me to govt if positive. even before I finished my sentence they said 'Welcome in Sir' and we had our dinner without issues.
Some clubs ask. For them just take a photo of a test that is negative, can show unlimited times, just change the date if pic more than 3 days old because some clubs check the date!

You could ask how they arrange tours nowadays as no tourists around, anyway will arrange tours for private groups and pretty sure you could buy yourself in for some upcoming group.
