  1. By visiting a shop that sells filters and looking at the input and output of said filters on the internet Of course I could be wrong in that all filters can handle the pressure of our 550 watt water pump
  2. I did not say ALL as neither do you...
  3. Most filters cannot handle the pressure of the water pump, you really need to make sure of that, if not, there is no cleansing
  4. It's a choice, but putting the filter after your pump you need to take in account the pressure your filter can handle And the volume, showering while doing laundry and the wife is spraying the lawn and daughter does the dishes
  5. Taken care of by big filter... first thing that gets sanitized Waiting for the pool guy in current house to give verdict on sample
  6. Have any of you guys seen or heard about a magnetic water softener in Thailand, they type you clip to your waterpipe??
  7. Yeah that is a choice I understand, either a filter and one tank or multiple tanks....I use one set-up with tank and pump for garden and pond. The in subject mentioned is for household use
  8. Clear. my mistake, I always think all power is measured in watt, 😄
  9. Does anyone have an idea with how much watt power the water from the government comes out of the tap
  10. We have an RO system in our current house, works perfectly... nobody died yet in 10 years use...
  11. Thanks Mike, all noted, the water is clear and does not smell but we still put it through a filter impulse, forgot to mention but yes, for drinking it goes through a smaller separate RO system
  12. I thought about the following route -well water to filter -filter to tank -tank to pump -pump to house for use Any advise or comments??
  13. Thanks KhunLA She is allowed to pay down, but with a fine for refinancing with another bank first 3 year. I guess she will have to talk to the bank about restructuring....
  14. Thai daughter last year bought a house with a home loan from SCB. 2 mio at monhtly payments 18 K. I want to give her a substantial amount of cash so she can pay down the home loan Where I am from the bank would review the loan and replace the current home loan with a new one Same terms, lower monthly payments Does anyone have any direct experience with this, is it possible?? Or will the bank not review?? No third hand stories please....
  15. I understood that initially the embassy of your home country will be notified and the next of kin. We can register that. Then they will contact the kids in the home country and they will be inheriting you possessions unless they refuse and in that case the wife, if no further family in your home country will be the beneficiary All of that, including IF the kids will refuse, can be prevented with a will/testament. It will take some time but the money will come directly to the right place I choose to put every possession in Thailand, including savings, in our Thai daughter her name, only the visa cash is in my name...... the remainder is in the home country for the kids there (well kids...)
  16. Could very well be, company paid for them......I just heard these amounts swirling around
  17. Correct as correct can ever be, in this process now!!! I was on occasion also wrongly advised to leave the country.... and advised to go through an agent which will complicate your future extensions as well, it's a life long contract... Costs are photo's, photocopies, documents from Amphur if needed and 1.900 for the extension or an additional 1.900 for a multi entry
  18. I would call it an addicition due to boring life above routine
  19. Wife makes yoghurt all the time, room temperature, overnight
  20. I have a morning routine before going to work and a (fitness) routine for after work The latter one might vary depending my lust for alcohol
  21. Allright, so my NON B visa expires November 7, I leave and come back Nov 6 and have permission to stay 90 days from November 6. The stamp in the passport will confirm that. Then I should go to immigration and apply for extension Non O....... is that correct?
  22. I always, and still, thought that the entry depended on the end date of the visa, from what I recall I was allowed to enter Thailand and the date matched my visa expiration date So when I return from the 'day before expiration VISA trip' my visa expires the next day and I actually have no visa at all, maybe 30 days exempt maximum You are not extending your visa when entering Thailand according to me but I could be wrong, but your reporting date That I won't have to report for 90 days is a different matter if you refer to that
  23. Is it possible to get a NON O marriage/retirement after 60 days family extension? Or do I have to leave the country, return on 30 days exempt and apply?
