We need to look beyond the mainstream media for a truer picture of what's going on here...

Its usually older pimp boys who manage/ rent out the younger ones - usually they seem to exist with some level of BIB knowledge.

Likely the kids are orphans in the first place. it doesn't seem a sophisticated network thing but much more informal.

The older pimp boys seek out customers for the underage and also for themselves.They know who their customers are and they know who they aren't.

Anyone engaging in this is unlikely to be doing so in a vacuum - they will be known about after a short time!

This fleeing suspect, wearing camouflage gear, a bulletproof vest and armed with four guns, has since disappeared from media coverage. Who was this person and how did he know what “it” was when he protested that “I didn’t do it”?

There will be a full investigation. Don't fret. Wearing a vest could have been to avoid being shot before having his chance to mass murder enough people which is what he was obviously there for.

Destroying his hard drive was sensible. Maybe he didn't want the world to know what kind of porn he was into?

The latest (back to something closer to reality) I've heard about the mysterious motivation of the shooter is this:

Shooter thought Mommy was going to commit him to a mental facility (good move!)

All he did all day was play violent video games (join the club, I guess)

Mommy was a regular volunteer at the elementary school (young kids, kindergarten)

Shooter was jealous that Mommy cared more about the kids at school than him and also angry about the threat to commit him

The rest we know. The targets (Mommy and the poor innocents at the school) starts to make a little more sense from the perspective of a man who had cracked.

Mommy didn't lock up her guns. I'm sorry, she knew her son was mentally ill, she is dead yes, but is she not partly culpable?

Interestingly, this family was very well off financially.

I can understand the history of the US right to bear arms but I don't think people would ever rise up against a corrupt government. My Fila is able to respond intelligently according to the situation, this ranges from enjoying & taking pats in a social situation, occasionally issuing a pinching (no mark)as a warning in a perceived threatening situation, to one time holding a guy against a wall, with her jaws wrapped round his throat in a threatening situation, (he froze & she released him after a while).

Oh dear. Well, the main task for the British Embassy in Bangkok and in any city is not to look after you and other citizens who may have chosen to live in a foreign country. Nor is its purpose to make your lives easier just because you have chosen not to live in your mother country but despite that require to be given every service you may feel suited to your needs in your lives in foreign country that may have some rules for expatriats to follow. Stop whining and grow up!

Perhaps for the benefit of Expats and in the interests of avoiding further confusion the British Embassy could list what its real purposes are?
