I still stand on my assumption. Would be very surprised if he had the equipment for MDA production.
-
The "factory" to produce those drugs would not be in any sane person's house. Crystal meth and most other processed drugs like Ecstasy are very dangerous to produce in large quantities, due to the ether and other highly inflammable and explosive fumes produced... No way is this a one man operation.
Yes, it can be very dangerous to manufacture these chemicals in home laboratories.
What I'd like to know is what was he producing exactly, just methamphetamines or MDA, MDMA strains which are know as ecstasy. The latter requires very sophisticated equipment and a lot more than knowledge of high school chemistry. And is not generally produced in Asia.
I would guess no.1, he was producing methamphetamines not ecstasy.
6000 pills? come on, and there was mentioned other substances to produce the pills but no quantities.

What is daftness?
Well, some Farangs are brought up to be decent with their statistical math while others are not.
As for Geography, a well publicized survey on this subject as re-published in the Bangkok Post recently found that 25% of Americans couldn't point out where the US where was on a world map.
As for the great Western Leaders, was it not George W Bush himself, who answered on that memorable radio interview when he was running for the Republican's replied to these two questions:
DJ: "Mr Senator-Elect, can you mention 5 capital cities in the world"
Bush: "Sure, i can. Washington, London, Paris, Berlin and mmmm..... Barcelona"
DJ: "Very interesting Sir that you mention Spain, have you enjoyed your visits there?"
Bush: "Actually, to tell you the truth, i've never been to South America"
Please reveal these "surveys". Origin of these statements, u surely must be a yank.
Soon surely 25% of these "americans" must be foreign, if not yet. So the QUESTION is what will you do about/for them in USA when they decide to reach for?
1. Be a President
2. Get genocided, sorry for spelling..
3. Just wanting to be legal aliens.
4. Or just suppressed the normal way.
So let's see.
SORRY OFF TOPIC

Asked my wife the question, and she also answered 480 ("Because there are 4 weeks in a month").
We also have a Japanese friend staying and asked her the question and got 600 ("Because there are 5 weeks in a month").
Was that a humorous attempt?

Did you people just kill Tim Leary?
Right it's time for reality again.

Seems like these guys didn't participate in the Polite Behaviour Program. Or it was not for Police...

Why there are so many references to age differences? How would it relate to anything? Do we have some facts?
I find it distasteful. And believe me, I'm pretty open minded guy.

How about I'm Over or It's Over?

This has been surprisingly civilized read so far. I too would like to thank all whom have added their very thoughtful and eloquent responses to OP and to this day and age. We are making history after all..
Mr. G, how about going to the top of the mountain and writing a book.
You know what I'm talking about, sincerely.
Peace.

It's only one side of the story. If the OP is despised by everyone, including his baby, he could be doing something wrong.
My inlaws, grandparents are illiterate peasants but I can't imagine them taking my daughter on a motorbike. It was them who taught her (with a bit of force) to use helmet when riding a bicycle, even when it had training wheels on.
They would repel a stray dog if it comes near the house when their grandchildren are playing outside.
I can't tell how much love and care flows from them. My wife's sister and her 2 kids live there permanently, they enjoy grandparents care, respect them (as they respect everyone) and I am at a brink of doubting the whole story.
Pardon for a private detail, but Where are you from really, sounds as so nice place?
Wang Nam Yen.
Irrelevant, what I have been seeing and hearing is much like that. Love for kids and outcasts gently sent away.
well. thats not much of an answer is it?
Just I think it would be a disgrace for Japanese if you still hold that..

Sounds like a great idea.

Similar practices still being performed in some - civilized - countries.
Cheating wives (word of the husband is enough) stoned to death.
onzestan
And some may think that death penalty in whatever ritual it may be packed in is a sign of an uncivilized country/nation.
Well most of the civilised, developed world certainly do with a couple of exceptions
Most, really?
You must hold different ideas of being civilized from me.

How about trying to prevent the accidents?

The police operation, perhaps referred to as 'a set-up' or 'a sting' - might also rightly be referred to as 'entrapment' or 'soliciting a crime'.
And i believe that many countries in Europe have clear laws against such police entrapment tactics.
True but who's following these laws, not the police in many places.
Any day I would trust the "dealer" more than "the police". Well, have to say it's a good job by the police for someone to think they are someone else.

I was just watching TV Ch.3 News they had names of the survivors "I guess" running on the bottom. They got until 16. and then Sawasdii, news finished. way to go Thailand media.

Sad, sad, sad, Maybe it will come a time when Thais themselves start to complaint about the ways things are run in their own country. I will have no say to that though.
I can't remember the last time I had problem with a taxi, maybe because I can speak some Thai with confidence. Well last time they gave me a taxi that wouldn't start, I waited calmly, in the end I had to push that taxi to get the engine on.
But.
As someone already said, what a welcome my friends get usually when arriving to LOS. Long queues to unfriendly immigration officer, the hussel by who knows, a taxi that has no change, sometimes on the edge to get violent. It is truly unforgettable I'm sure. Shame on them.

This might be wrong place to ask, but then again concerns long time students in Thaland.
What are the requirements for PR. I have lived in Thailand for 4 years on NON-ED for BBA, is it any help or not?

Let's get hyped again.
The ever incompetent statements by the Police in offices of Thailand who seem to wake up a few times a year. (I will have to add some western media).
Same time knowing very well what's going on in their country at much less touristed locations. By Thais, on Thais, to Thais....
Again incredible.
