There seem to be a million posts on this topic but none that specifically answer my question. Excuse me but I am new to this subject.

I got a 1 year Marriage visa in Singapore 3 months ago and the 90 days expires this coming week.

I know I need to go to the nearest immigration office with my wife and report in and confirm my address but do I need to take any documents apart from my passport ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Anyway, it seems to be working fine now, but I'm going to run that trial a few more times before I decide to shell out. If it works without problems, it does look very good.

I was one of the beta testers for Mac/Parallels and after I upgraded to the latest Parallels I didn't have any problems running the dictionary software (Parallels = me was the problem, not their dictionary). It's been months and months with out a glitch.

(note: I wasn't a very diligent beta tester as I was absent a great deal, but I've spent a fair time with their software dictionary then and now)

I installed parallels and windows on my Mac and within the day my email (hotmail) was hijacked and spamming.

I cannot see the match listed on True, does anypne know if it is on and if so what channel ??

Large areas of Southern France, Marseilles in particular comes to mind seem to be predominantly populated with people like this chappie, Algerian, Moroccan, legal or illegal and responsible for most of the local crime.

Can this be moved to the Central Thailand forum as it's a local issue that should be of interest to expats in that area.

It is quite obvious that , City Hall, the BiB and anyone else with any kind of power in Pattaya simply do not care about the welfare of the Tourist's who visit their City.

They could stop this in a heartbeat, if they wanted to.

I just buy some good looking tomatoes from Tesco, put them in a ziplock bag and leave outside in the sun until they are rotten mush.

Had my Canon printer converted recently to use the side tanks, it works great.

Points of note, the low ink alarm is now always on and if you do not use them regularly the tubes will dry up, this happened to us but the guy who fixed it up for us cleaned them out in 10 minutes.

It is a step in the right direction. The unit that is leading this effort has the task of dealing with criminals from foreign origins. If they can get even a few scum off the street, it will make living in Pattaya a lot easier for those people that are honest and decent.

So much low hanging fruit that the authorities need only id patrons in a few of the more disgusting of the bars and I'm sure they'll identify people that are on the sex crime registeries of their homelands or that have criminal dossiers. I am looking forward to the pictures in the PDN.

Good post, you seem to understand the situation for what it is, unlike a lot of the experts on this board.

Can I ask a straight forward question?   If you weren't a criminal, fat old balding desparate bastard, sex tourist or a pedophile why would you even be in Pattaya?  Simple question needs simple answer.

Are you suggesting that I go live in the back of beyond in a wooden house on stilts, without aircon or a mains sewage system, without a splendid choice of several first class golf courses nearby, where the nearest supermarket selling food that I like to eat is at least 30 miles away, that I sail my boat on a rice paddy, be constantly pestered by creepy crawlies and other fauna, and not have a wide selection of other farangs whose company I can enjoy ? Should I live in BKK and choke myself to death? 

The majority of my friends and associates have put on a few extra pounds. Is this supposed to be reason enough to ridicule them? Shall we see what sort of figure you cut in your later years? Most civilisations revere their elders and acknowledge that they are a source of experience and garnered wisdom. Presumably that has passed you by. Loss of hair as one ages is a natural phenomenon. Most intelligent people do not consider that to be a subject for risible comment or barely veiled insult.  I know of nobody in LoS a state of desperation; I knew quite a few inthe UK though. Illegitimacy is commonplace these days in the UK.. What is it about your type who constantly denigrate Pattaya? Have you ever been outside of the area bounded by the beach and 3rd Road? Why not pay a visit and ask one or more of the many farang residents to be found shopping with their ladies in one of the supermarkets or malls and ask them which of the four categories that you have decided to put them in applies to them? I trust that you will enjoy the knuckle sandwich. 

Instead of responding maybe you should have reported his post, but his attitude will probably get him banned sooner rather than later.

I discussed the requirements of a marraige visa with the people at the immigration office in Korat last week.

400k bank balance if the account was in my name, 800k bank balance if it was a joint account with my wife !!!

The balance has to have been in place for at least 2 months before the application is made.

I tried beer but because the snail population is worse in the rainy season it got diluted too quickly

I used these ones in the UK, and they worked wonders, had to empty them out every morning.

For what its worth and its here say

the red protestors (mums/dads/kids) have had their ID cards taken by the "officials" in the camps. In return they were paid some money, food, water etc. and the promise of more after the reds win.

Assume the red protestors cannot leave as they cant get their ID cards back.

The reds were expecting a million people to turn out and they are approx 5000 at present

of this its possible that approx 300 motor cycle taxi drivers / taxi drivers / disturbed idealistic youths are causing billions of baht in damages.

Any Thai can go and get a new ID card from any Police Station anywhere in Thailand if he says he lost it. Better come up with a new theory.

IHMO this is not true, they should report it to the nearest police station and replacement can only given where the card was issued.

Unfortunately, there is much farang scum in Thailand with low IQs and education... so one can expect to read that these dregs want to see bloodshed.

But at least they are not out on the streets, giving us all a bad reputation, most of them seem to spend there lives posting crap on Thai Visa.
