  1. Personally, where I have lived for nearly 14 years, I think the standard of English has skyrocketed over that time! Not only that but, when they do speak it, they have a smile on their face like they're enjoying it.
  2. Well that's easy to answer. Like thousands of other expats here I have IPTV on a latest generation firestick but if you have a particular type of smart tv you can put it directly on to that.
  3. I often wonder why people would go for this package when there's plenty of packages around that not only give you the Premier League but thousands of other channels also, including VOD and Movies for just a little more than 1999thb!
  4. Yes, this place in Hua Hin. Locals and expats swear by it, including myself. Dr. Niwat Skin Clinic https://share.google/FQIQkGcNwBdKY2Bm3
  5. Wearing a helmet doesn't curb accidents, sensible driving does! They need to be heavily clamping down on the thousands of untrained, unlicensed, untaxed and uninsured drivers.
  6. Correct, very simple to do and zero hassle. Don't know what all the fuss is about. My UK bank has a similar system and the limit is set lower than 50,000thb.
  7. Been expecting this since SCB did the same. I'm fairly old school but I have to say that the Krungsri App is fairly simple to use once you've experimented with it for a while.
  8. Mmmmm, I fail to see how a helmet will curb a road accident!
  9. First bit of common sense I've heard from my native country in donkeys years!
  10. I mean a 12 month statement. I get mine within an hour.
  11. Ok, just been today to do my 90 day at HHI and then asked the helpful IO downstairs for up to date info. Here it is. 1. Bank letter- valid for 5 days. 2. Updated bank book including a transaction- valid for 2 days. 3. 12 months of printed statements. So lampangguy, yes you can do it the day before as far as HHI are concerned.
  12. Yes, I thought so, just couldn't 100% remember. HHI are one of the better IT'S when you read some of the horror stories on here.
  13. I'm sure I got my bank documents the day before last year after taking advice off a very helpful IO. Just to be sure go and ask the question at one of the two desks on the ground floor. The best person to speak to is the one that's about 5 foot tall. Very helpful person. Let me know how you get on.
  14. So if a sandfly visits my spotlessly clean home, is it going to say, "fck that, I'm not going in there"? Asking for a friend!
  15. Same same year on year! Never makes a difference!
  16. And you're saying this now! Any chance you can pre-warn in the future instead of after the event?
