  1. I've ridden many times in groups and one of the major rules is keep a safe distance apart. If anything happens to one bike it doesn't cause a problem to the others. It also sounds like no helmets as usual, when will they learn?
  2. Of course, it's the closest with any real life.
  3. It was the shooters cat! The victims complained about it.
  4. The truck crashes suggests one pulled out to avoid the parked vehicle without looking and hit the other truck. As for the others, driving too fast and not paying attention probably, not exactly unusual here.
  5. These are huge numbers. My question, is why not employ them legally as they're obviously needed? Money I expect, the usual reason. I feel sorry for the Myanmar group, they are shafted by the Junta when they get back.
  6. How can compensation ordered by the court be subject to a time limit, it should be until it's paid. Also the courts/police should ensure it is paid. Justice in Thailand is crazy sometimes. Statute of limitations should apply only to the time limit to get the accused to court.
  7. That's for consenting to have sex, hardly the case in this instance. The girl is not an adult in Thai law.
  8. No doubt zero qualifications to inject botox. Bought his Chinese supplies via Alibaba, that well known supplier of top medical products. What a moron. This idiot deserves all he's going to get.
  9. Yeah, that's the legal maximum. Nobody ever gets life though. The usual for class A is 8 to 15 years and then they'll only do two thirds.
  10. Why? He didn't need the money and was evading British justice here, he wouldn't want to attract police attention. It would be interesting to know how long he was living in Thailand.
  11. Indeed. Very little safety.
  12. The assailant took the shell cases away. Really? I can't see them having the brains for that. More likely they used a revolver.
  13. Reading the report the title is misleading, the child wasn't rescued, but pulled from the water already drowned. As a parent I don't let kids out of my sight near water even if they can swim. This is gross negligence.
  14. That's not true in my experience, all my wife's family and friends have licenses and are average village Thai. Some don't bother I'm sure, but it's the minority.
  15. My experience is England and the walkway between carriages was covered by a flexible rubber/plastic tube so it wasn't open and impossible to fall through.
  16. That's definitely true, common sense has disappeared. That said I don't recall having to deal with trains with no doors.
  17. Why didn't the boys that could swim help the girls that couldn't, instead of just grabbing the boat? Doesn't make sense.
  18. How difficult can this be to monitor and get the police to enforce the law? Just clamp down on the "chinese" companies, especially the Thai nominees. Improving the existing bus services might not be a bad idea either.
  19. Personal information. Pissed up idiot. Nothing more needed.
  20. Because that was the basis of the dinner, not family relationships. The military will read what they want as they always do, the last coup was totally unnecessary but suited their needs at the time.
  21. The woman isn't perfect, but she is also the victim of a horrific crime. Her ex who has only just got out of prison, decides to burn her alive, how sick is that? He deserves life in prison.
  22. It was a dinner speech, he wasn't announcing government policy.
  23. Of course the priority is cleaning it up. However, it would be good to catch whoever caused this, to ensure they don't do it again. It is possible to do more than one thing in parallel.
