  1. To be honest I was a bit bored otherwise I'd have ignored it.
  2. Well considering China is trying to do loads of business in Africa, Chinese citizens may bring it back to China. With the new visa rules, will they bring the virus to Thailand?
  3. I often get calls from unknown numbers due to my work. It's usually easy to detect a scam within a short time.
  4. The stupidity of people that fall for these scams is beyond belief.
  5. I suppose they have to ask the questions, but excessive speed is fairly obvious I'd have thought.
  6. No source or photos, where's the story?
  7. Spot on, it happens all over Thailand. Pedestrian crossings are just ignored by drivers.
  8. Out of curiosity I found what I think is Toffee using the name in Thai. ท๊อฟฟี่ สาวประเภทสองซ่อมคอมพิวเตอร์ Unfortunately it didn't help much and I have no idea why I bothered, boredom I guess. 10 minutes I'll never get back 🤔
  9. Yes, I was confused when I saw the photo, expecting a story from Pattaya. Then I read on and it's Doi Suthep, couldn't be much further apart.
  10. As usual, the photo almost certainly bears no relation to the story.
  11. True, it's not unusual to see them in overtaking lanes. These things shouldn't be allowed on major roads, they are too slow and offer no protection.
  12. That's the bit that makes little sense. Statute of limitations applies to arrest and trial in court. He was arrested and convicted to 33 years. Surely he's just an escaped prisoner.
  13. Couldn't agree more, that's the first thing any normal tanker driver should do.
  14. That is not stated in the article. I tried searching on the Web with no luck.
  15. They were all charged. Only the underaged weren't named.
  16. My wife is already calculating her share of 9.39 billion. I haven't the heart to disappoint her.
  17. All confusing, why would the hotel have an autopsy report and not the family and police? How do they know it's counterfeit? Still, a sad story.
  18. I wonder how long this version will last. Probably until they rattle the elite.
  19. Well ASEAN could certainly learn from the many mistakes made along the line by the EU.
  20. Obviously this is about Thailand. I learned a long time ago I have no vote and therefore can't change it, so, I don't try. It's not England, where I won't be imprisoned for a long time for wishing to reform something.
  21. Wait until they actually are going to deport them, then inform the ambassador. No chance of bribery then.
  22. Thanks for the info. Pity, Heathrow is so much easier I find.
  23. The problem is there are so many cables and nobody knows which cable does what. You can be 100% sure nobody labeled them.
  24. True but there were very few Countries in the first EC or EEC back in the 50s, I can't remember. It wasn't until the 90s that freedom of movement happened.
