I'm with you. Let's asked the Thais if they want to shut down public transport? Let's ask them is it yes or no to health?
Smart, that is a fair comparison. A pub also can get you from home to work.

I don't see what the big deal is. They're not banning alcohol. Just drink at home.

You know what they say here, farangs do complain a lot of things

Simple. Just wear a mask.

Many people seem to misunderstand. Even after THAI files bankruptcy, they will still continue to fly as normal. So all booked tickets will remain valid. It's going to be almost exactly the same process of Japan Airlines, United Airlines' bankruptcy and restructuring.

instead of blaming Thailand when currency exchange doesn't work in your favor, perhaps you should tell US to stop printing money every time they ran out of cash.

I would like to have THAI keep flying. Not only they are the most convenient for departure from BKK, their services on the ground and in the air are far superior to western airlines. Last time I flew BA first class, not only the seat was dirty but FA had some attitude. Maybe she had a bad day or something but very unprofessional of her to behave in such way while serving the passengers.

Uk been hit harder than Thailand but i am much happier here in UK. IF I caught it then better treatment and no massive hospital bill. Relief. Personally I am now much happier.
Actually, all foreigners get free treatments for Covid19 at government hospitals. I'm not sure about private hospitals, but in most cases, if patients are tested positive, they will be mandatorily transferred to designated government hospitals for hospitalization to receive necessarily treatments at no cost at all. There are already plenty of foreigners received free treatments and discharged from hospitals, no charge. I don't know if you can choose to get treatment at luxurious private hospitals or must be transferred to government hospital.

I don't see all the points of OP. This is merely a civil matter between OP and a landlord. Completely irrelevant to enforcing the law. If a contract says you can't have a pet, it means you can't have a pet. If you choose to breach the contract, your landlord has every right to evict you and possibly refuse to return the deposit.

but but but how can this be!
all the farang tourists are gone.
I noticed I often see your posts on the first page of many of the news. I'm just curious. Are you actually spending hours each day on TV trying to be among the first ones to post a comment to get likes?

This is laughable. A country that relies on Chinese money, even more so after Brexit, is in no position to tough talk with China???? In fact brits should question themselves for <deleted> poor jobs they had done responding to Cod19 threats.

It seems to me that despite all the rhetoric nobody knows a lot of what is being achieved by any nation in attempting to control this epidemic.
We have Thailand with almost amazingly low figures of infection/deaths meanwhile the UK figures are alarming almost 30k deaths, however testing in the UK is almost up to 100k tests daily how many tests have been done here in Thailand nobody outside the government know, how many tests have been done on people who have died again who knows.
I had 2 friends in the UK with terminal cancer but both deaths were covid 19, maybe in Thailand these deaths would be just attributed to the cancer, I don't know if tests are done to check the actual cause in Thailand.
great, so without absolutely anything to back it up you are suggesting that because of what happening in UK, Thailand has to be worse. Where are all the hidden sick and dead in Thailand? Everybody here have access to SNS, government can't hide thousands of sick and dead from public. Unless you are going to suggest family of thousands of hidden sick and dead people are not doing anything about it or Thai government is doing amazing job deleting posts from facebook or twitter before anyone seeing it.

• Belt & Road construction loans to poor 3rd world countries.
• Stealing intellectual property and technology from the west
And so much more...
sounds just like what Europeans, mainly Brits, had done in the past

Of course there are bunch of usual moaners and they don't seem to respect and appreciate how well Thailand is actually handling this situation.

I too got an upgrade to 1000/500 from AIS fiber before covid19 lock down. Speedtest.net showed I was indeed getting 1000 download back then. However, now during the lock down, I'm getting around 450~600. I'm guessing so many people are online at once watching netflix and youtube.

Call your mortgage company. Currently they are helping borrowers by temporarily reducing monthly payment for 3 months. Specifically, they just delay charging you the principle for 3 months and you only have to pay the interests. After 3 months, monthly payment returns to original amount and your mortgage becomes 3 months longer. No negative on your credit history.

Check youtube, there are plenty of video people rescuing animals mostly cats and dogs. Nowadays, people have to take pictures or video of themselves doing something good for attentions and money from views.

Put the Baht back to 65 to the £ and we will all be over the moon
You can always dream for anything but seriously doubt baht will go anywhere near 65. UK hasn't been doing well with their economy at all for years. Nobody saw current situation back then, but they sure did the brexit at really the worst time possible. It will be very interesting to see how brexit will turn out when world economies are in toilet.

I can't believe so many idiots here are moaning about 14-day quarantine. It simply means after April 30th, Thailand will still not be ready for tourism. Any foreigner must come to Thailand, must be quarantined, and it's going to take a while until things turn to normal. So tourists just have to wait longer.

What number did you call? I didn't have any issue reaching customer service yesterday. Made changes to my existing reservations and booked a new flight without any problem.
