I don't understand all the hatred towards this guy. Is it just because he is a good boxer? I feel sorry for him. I also feel but for the grace of God, it could have been I. Alcohol and tranquilizers do strange things to people.
Has anyone here NOT been in a fight?
Obviously you dont know the history of this case...if you did you wouldn't make such a post..Google it..its all there, before you make another attempt..

The rat is not happy..hahaa tough luck..he's already got ''special privileges" and still complaining..He appears to be afraid of the guards..again..tough luck, i really hope that they are making life hard for him...
He took the life of another guy in a premeditated, cold blooded, cowardly attack with a knife on an unarmed man..nothing is too bad for him to have to suffer now!!
Reap as you sow!! Rot in hell you pathetic excuse for a human being...

It was in response to the post above mine (duh!).
And your point is???This has been going on in Chalong Bay for decades as any long term yachties can attest.
I would say that near everything posted these days regarding '"bad goings on'" on phuket also fits :your reply..ie [things have been going on for decades],,sometimes you "long termers"
seem to forget that theres' many on this forum now who are newcomers and should be made aware of such events.
Many things are relatively new phenomena such as traffic jams, foreigners murdering foreigners, the bad attitude of tuk-tuk drivers etc.
But, nicking stuff off boats in Chalong Bay has been going on a loooooong time.
Duh! ?? Quaint ..in a childish kind of way...

I think this is the classic sentence;
Mr Phuripat said he was sure it would have no effect. “The idea is not to ‘steal’ passengers from the taxis or tuk-tuks,” he said. “The idea is to help lighten the load on the roads and at the same time allow tourists to enjoy the sea view.”
Yeh ,i'm sure the tuk tuk guys will see your POV.

He smoked a cigarette and threw the cigarette butt at one of the motorbikes. When he saw the motorbike catch on fire,
Better come up with another excuse.....If as he says.above is true..How could a bike catch fire simply by having a cigarette butt on it..maybe the seat could smoulder a long while then ignite, but unlikely...

.....Not a pleasant feeling but I will not risk my own life for that of an animal.
All too true. This was taught to me as a basic fundamental going back to the sixties when undergoing driver training in Australia. Roos as well as cuddly Koalas etc. came 2nd in the decision process, sad but a fact of life.
Sure.., in a car or truck, but you can never take that option when riding a motorcycle.

Yes you can, you'd be surprised. Where possible increase the gas so the front wheel gets a bit lighter.
You're going to have to clarify exactly what you mean here..are you saying that you would actually accelerate when confronted with an animal in your path whilst riding?

EDIT..Possibly at times on a big bike confronting a small animal,i do agree with what you say, but other than that is a sweeping generalisation as i interpret it..

Hi all,
Was going to open a new thread but felt maybe it sits better here. Does anyone know what's happened to the phuket info forum? It's been down for a few days now and just wondering if it's a maintenance thing or maybe done and dusted.
Cheers

The whole small ip block (where the webserver and nameservers are located) is unreachable, might be temporary routing problem or almost anything else.
Europe is currently in DDOS war, which also might have effects to services around the globe.

Confessed Killer Lee Aldhouse Gives His First Interview From Phuket Prison
in Phuket News
You honestly cant differentiate between"when you hit someone in a car or on a bike and kill them." and persueing someone with a knife with intent to harm or as in this case take the life of another person??? Really??
The guy is a lowlife coward and deserves all and more that he will in time get!!
