Gulfsailor,makes a good point.

Try Macro,if there's one near you.
Buy what quantity you want.
I usually buy a 1,000 a time.
Minimum buy 200,they don't split sleeves,cartons.

I rarely drink.
It doesn't cause any concern with my local friends.
Initially the bottle collection man was a little suprised, the foriegner didn't drink copious amounts of beer, but got over it.
On the other hand had a very enjoyable evening, whilst visiting Petchabun got absolutely legless with some long haul lorry drivers.
Maybe don't give up to start with just go the occasional route, sometimes having a drink just fits the moment.
Obviously your choice.

I received my first licence, after an eight year wait.
I had visited the transport office on previous occasions to be met by long lines of customers.
I don't like queuing.
Went on Tuesday,it was cold first thing in the morning. In and out in less than an hour.
Having just bought a new vehicle helped me along, now all legal, for car and bike.

Hiso folk use a personal shopper to make their purchases.
Wannabee Hiso do their own shopping.
I prefer a happy medium.
The stores close to the riff raff while I shop alone.

Looking at the head markings,I would say a Kukri (not sure of the spelling).

Report it to the police.
It may save you money in the long run.
Camera's are now being used to record traffic offences, using the rear number plate for recognition of offender.
Plate theft is becoming more common.
The attached photo,is what arrives in the post, along with a Baht 1000 fine, for this particular offender,my landlady.

Lose the middleman.
Open the bank account yourself.
Make deposits on a regular basis, taking the grandchildren along.
They can then see the funds grow slowly but surely.
I did this for my own kids, they were given access at 18.

Maybe they have heard of smoked ham.
So thought they might try smoked beef.
Just haven't mastered the smoking process.

OP.
You are concerned.
How does your girlfriend feel about it?
Maybe she fancies a change.
Many people leave their family behind, for work.

If you think £9300.A big chunk of change, maybe you should reconsider.Hi ukrules,
Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me which visa i should be applying for if the tourist one is no good? I haven't heard of the Thailand Elite but will look into it, £9300 is a big unexpected chunk to cough up though! Haha.
Thanks for the tips on renting. Can you give me any pointers on how much the electric rates should be, just so i know i'm not getting ripped off? Are there any websites to check on this?
Cheers
The Thai Elite card is the best option for a person of your age and intended length of stay.
Check it out.

I know the road tax doesn't cover the road maintenance but it should, wouldn't you think.
Have u any idea of the cost of fixing one pot hole and what has happened to local govt funding who are responsible for just about everything other than motorways?Kannot.
The UK could fix the roads, they just choose not to.
Stock photos.
I am in the UK presently, the roads are atrocious.
My yearly road tax is £290.Screenshot_2015-11-25-09-00-03.pngScreenshot_2015-11-25-08-59-16.pngScreenshot_2015-11-25-08-58-03.png
By the way, drive a smaller car, zero Road tax. Your Road tax doesn't go directly to fixing roads.

Joe public can't go around fixing roads in the UK either.
I am sure you would get a reaction from a local authority jobsworth in short order,
if you were to try.

It must be a bitch.
I dog would of grown a pair.

I prefer the plastic bags.
They serve as rubbish bags at home them get burnt.
Double usage.
Long live the plastic bag.

Car and motorcycle wash.
Cheap set up costs if you can find a suitable plot of land for rent.
Jet washer are cheap enough at Macro.
Thai folk like to keep their vehicles clean.
I Don't know how many are around your area, maybe worth a look.

BuaBS.
The vets I have encountered have been very professional.
One even made a carriage for a stray dog that had been run over and its back end was paralysed.
It now gets about with back wheels instead of legs.
Often seen in the vets surgery waiting room.

This appears to be an attempt by the OP to generate hits on his Facebook and UtuBe account.S Surely one of his followers on the aforementioned could assist in with editing of the slag off Thai driving video project.

I don't care how big a blokes penis is.
Whatever nationality.
I am happy with my own equipment.
As long as it keeps functioning correctly.

I don't see how he can be on the sex offenders register, without being convicted.
If on such a register and not an Aussie citizen,I doubt he would be able to travel to said country.
Australia has very strict visitor entry policies.

Give notice to leave as per contract.
Find another place and move.
General maintanance issues arn't your responsibility.
Call the landlord bluff.

A global problem.
I am sure the west used plastic containers long before Thailand.
So if Thailand cut back in the future all is even.
permanent residents may have the right to carry?

Yes one can.
Google Thai gun licence.
I have considered applying as I regularly carry large sum of money or gold.
Unfortunately my landlady of many years prefers I don't have a weapon on the premises.
She makes a fair point that I haven't encountered any problems thus far so why carry a weapon which is a fair comment.
