  1. Cut them all down when he's not around.

Believe me, I have sprayed the bloody things with Roundup time and time again, but the damn things never die!

I don't even understand why he keeps them, they are nearly dead, he never looks after them, in three years out of 200 tress he will be lucky if he has got 1 KG of fruit,( and I probably cut at least 500 grammes of them tonight) he does nothing with them.

    Ring bark them

  2. I don't get it.

If as the article stated that she had health problems since she was young surely there would have been travel insurance and this would cover the medical expenses .

If not and not trying to be smart but we have seen many times tourists not taking out travel insurance and ending up being stuck with hefty bills .

36,000 and rising and I didn't know if it's true about their statement about its Thai culture not turning off the machine. My wife did it for her father.

Travel insurance doesn't cover preexisting conditions.
  3. If you chill the chicken well before slicing.

Then use a sharp knife you should achieve the desired result.

Failing that Robinsons stock a meat slicer for the home, not sure on price, but probably a little excessive for the slicing of chicken only.

  4. The retro look is what does it, right? I see them out here as well down south.. but I have my sights on the CB 500X Retirement present..

    On the pegs.

Bought a cb500x three weeks ago, very happy so far.

Will do a report when it's a little older.

Baht 220,000,cheap as chips impulse buy,saw it bought it,part x,ed a crfm,I was bored with.

  5. Could someone please remind me why the English FA requested that our hero relinquish his ownership of Man City?

Did they? I thought he sold up because he was strapped for ready cash and was offered £210 million by Sheikh Mansour for his £81.6 million investment.

After his conviction,he was considered a person unfit to own the club,or something on those lines.

I think also his visa was revoked, because of the conviction.

  6. Thanks for the reply guys. I was wondering if she could make a new passport in BKK. Her passport and my son's is in my office in Malaysia

Why don't you post the passports to her.

That will save your partner having to apply for new ones.

Of course she can apply for new passports, why do you think not?

She could also report that you stole the originals.

  7. Cashless Thailand. You joking or what?

Today wife and myself were at an izuzu dealer, to buy a new pickup.

I proffered my card for payment. No only money no cards !! <deleted> !!

So my wife will have to go to the bank, what a bloody joke.

    Recently bought a Toyota,they didn't want cash,only a cashiers check would do.

I presume the dealer would suffer some sort of charges, from the credit card company so decline the card usage.

Not really sure as I don't possess a credit card.

  8. That's a change, hope so. I've only stayed at Lao Plaza and that was a special occasion for the Marine Corps Birthday Ball last Nov. since around '07. Whew, pang mak mak! Although this lady lives on the outskirts of Vientiane, she doesn't even know where the "farang" bars and hotels are. I don't know my way around either.

    Baht 3,000 a night,including breakfast.

    Hardly breaking the bank.

  9. Wot is it with the British lately? Crimes committed by them here in Thailand an now we got drunken louts in France making a fool of themselves. Lock them up during Euro Finals. Ban them for life attending games back home.

I'm also a football supporter but am ashamed to be English. ???

Russian and French were also involved.

    Brings back fond memories.

I used to attend the occasional rumble and don't even follow football.
