Awesome shot Stix, love the perspective on that one, also to Jimmy on post #4052...what a cracking shot, love the banding colours of the sea.
Apologies if I have already shared this one before, found it in my 'to edit' folder.
This looks like a scene from one of those movies where the world is coming to an end! Time to get off the motorcycle and kiss you a$$ goodbye!

Actually, this is a long exposure using a Big Stopper 10X neutral density filter. It would be almost impossible to get this effect
in normal daylight without such a filter because the exposure time would be too short to capture the silky water look. In this case,
the photo was taken as ISO 50 f/8 and a 10 second exposure. Under low light conditions, such as late afternoon on an overcast
day, using a small aperture you might be able to get a few second exposure with your camera without using a filter. Otherwise,
you will need a neutral density filter, preferrably something equal to a Lee brand Big Stopper or Little Stopper. Oh, a tripod is
a must for this type of shot due to the long exposure.
Hope this helps.

Yes. But you are free to put copyright watermarks on your images (although they can be taken off without too much difficulty). Many of us upload lower quality jpegs while the originals are on our computers in their higher quality file format.

No! Though there is nothing to stop you from downloading and using the images, the person taking the photo owns it. Good manners would dictate that you ask the 'owner' for permission to use the photo and be honest about how it will be used.

I'm curious @fiddlesticks, how were you allowed to stay after dark?
I entered after hours and stayed there along with about a dozen other visitors. The previous time I was there I was able to enter before hours but this time the guard kept me out until opening. It all depends on whether the guard is awake or sleeping, whether he cares or not. It's just a crap shoot to tell you the truth.

Thanks! It's at a waterfall out in the countryside in Petchabun. DAL and I went on a day trip in the hills there and got some nice shots. Later I'll post photos of the actual waterfall that is downstream a little bit.
