I know that. My origianal question was after how many years is the rego cancelled. 3 years seems to be the answer.
-
I dont believe the insurance is backdated , or any other fine , other than the 1 Baht per month for late tax. Tax is backdated at 100 per year. Insurance ( gov ) is 565 per year. Im probably not going to have to set up a crowd fund account to pay the total cost , whatever it comes to. I will post the outcome.

It can now be done after August this year. Im not a full time visa resident , so cant put bike in my name. Never a problem before when out for a month or so , but now the tax / ins has been out a year. Original owner returned to France , so greenbook frozen in his name.
-
Thank you. It was the time limit i was after. 3 years seems to be the conclusion. Paying any back tax / insurance i know about.
-
I know the fine is 1 Baht per month. Ive paid this before. Ive heard of a time limit of no tax , after which the rego/greenbook is cancelled. If its 100% 3 years , im OK. Many thanks.

Cheers mate. I know about the back taxes. The problem is the bikes greenbook isnt in my name. If the tax isnt paid for over a certain period the greenbook and reg is cancelled. You cant get another greenbook issued , if your name wasnt in the first one. Which is the situation im in. If 3 years is 100% the time limit , im OK.

Thank you for such a quick reply. People have told me 2 , 3 , even 5 years.

My 250cc bike tax ran out in August 2020. What is the time limit for it being expired ( and not ridden ) before the reg plate number is cancelled , and i have to re-register the bike. The green book is in the name of the first owner , who has left Thailand years ago. Many thanks

Maybe this wasnt caught in Thailand ?. What about heavy metal exposure , such as lead paint.
-
OK. Sorry . You have tested for many things. Lets hope someone else comes up with a suggestion.
-
Have you tested for Lyme disease or Weils disease. You could also try testing for Strongyloidiasis. Ivermectin treats that. Good luck.

If it works now , all OK. Sometimes the starter gear wrong size.

Yes. In exactly the same way Benelli is 100% Italian. They just both source components from asia. -

I believe they are made , or maybe just assembled , in Thailand. Triumph brand name still owned by Keith Bloor ltd. -

Union FLAG. Triumph (bikes) also had the flag on them. Made in Thailand. -
Sounds like a bad earth / connection. Are the starter/engine gears meshing together correctly.

Will be an incredible restoration. Ive been following with equal interest and admiration. Not too fond of the rev counter , just MHO. What bike is next . 555. -
My vote would be The Downunder Pub and Byhand pizza.

I have a BMW 330 convertible. It had a new petrol pump a few years ago. Could you please tell me what fuel gunked up your pump , and what fuel you switched too. I like Shell V-Power. -
