Where are you located and what are you offering? I'd let my full-time live-in do it, take it as her night off if they just need basic supervision, but she doesn't speak any English.
Have you asked the hotel?
It would be circa sukhumvit 12.
Have not asked hotel yet this time....but all/most hotels use an outside service if they have it and you end up with a complete stranger recommended by an outside service.
I know not much different looking for someone here....but at least it would/should be someone recommended and known...as you have done.
Tis all a bit risky and I may not even bother with it......but IF the right person came along I would.
Thanks.

She got in a lot of late night bar fights at Issan clubs and it was after I bailed her out one morning and we were having breakfast at Took Lai De she got in an altercation with the cooks. It was the from the chair directly to the right of the gentleman with suspenders in the photo that she leaped over the counter. Spry old girl she was.
what did she do to be banned .... i am wondering .My old girlfriend got banned from Foodland in Pattaya. Yes to both meanings of old. I never met a Thai person who got banned from Foodland before. I considered it quite an accomplishment. I'd tell all the drunks on Soi BuaKhow and they would all nod in amazement. No one had ever met a person who had been banned from Foodland.
So you are atracted to classy well behaved girls.
Good for you.

>What is your thinking about my situation?
Proverbs 16:18
Ok, I was intrigued.
16:18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
But what does it mean exaccery ?
Strange because according to this topic you don't live in Thailand and your wife isn't Thai at all
http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/576899-retirement-visa-what-about-wife-kids/
Am about to retire to Thailand, age and funds not an issue, but these are the possible issues:
- having a wife who is neither Thai nor Swiss citizen (Swiss C permit) => what kind of Visa would she need / get ?
- she has a small kid to which I am not the father, but she is the sole guardian (father did give up all rights) and kid is 10 => would the kid get the Visa automatically through the mother?
And according to this topic a few months later you donm't even have a wife at all.

Thanks in advance for giving me some ideas about things to do in Chiang Mai when I will drop by for 3 days in january. Will be there with my girlfriend and looking for the "must see" of this city. It's our first visit and just want to stroll around and see the main attractions. Any ideas and recommendations highly appreciated.
So back under your bridge
They dun call you just brainy for nuttin

The question is -- what do you do if a teacher violates the confidentiality of a student in Thailand? If anyone can share any experience with it, it'd be greatly appreciated.
I thought you already understood - there isn't any enforceable "right to privacy" for information like this. I'd be very surprised if such even exists in theory, but certainly not in practice.
Give it up!
I may not agree to give it up but I figure there is no "official way" of treating it.
So what was wrong with my online search suggestions?
I have enough of my own ridiculous, pathetic little problems that those too, no one is interested in, so I bid you all a good morning.
I figure there is no "official way" of treating it based on the responses I've gathered so far. I was hoping there is a legitimate way to approach it ...
I have no trust issues with my GF, she actually told me about this situation herself (she thought it was funny). It looks horrifying to me, though.
'horrifying' is most likely not the word i would have used.......unles you are also scared a little about it.

Dont worry....said person does not have the gonads to ask in person.....so does it from afar......he must be hideous.
But....maybe she could get free lessons out of it.
Wish a teacher at our school would ask me to dinner.

There are many options around Thailand but I can tell you as an owner of an International School in Phuket that it is very hard to keep prices down. No better how much you try at the end one has to charge for good education. First of all one will never find good teachers for coins. They will always want to get paid well and they should. Even if a school manages to get someone from UK or USA for a good price after one year they find out how much other teachers get paid in other International schools and then they want more. On top of it a school has to get work permits for their staff. If not then any time immigration comes to check it causes so much drama. Then we are talking about good assistant teachers. They are hard to find too and they want to get paid well. On top of it we are talking about electricity, rent, food, maid, cooks, gas, drivers, handy men, gardeners, coordinators, accountants, secretaries and the list goes on. At the end of the day no matter what if the education is good the price has to go up. We have been charging 13,450 baht per month and really can't do it anymore. So next year our prices will go up to 15,000 per month. Which is still 10,000 baht cheaper then any other international school in Phuket. But believe me it is not easy. The only way we can do it is we are a charity and not looking for profit.
How many students ?
All your costs are far cheaper than those same costs in a western country....even the foreign teachers work for less here than they would get back home.
So for a school with 2000 kids charging prices 3 to 4 times more than you....they must be making a killing right ?
We have only 200 kids. As for schools with 2000 students that charge 3-4 times the price I can not say how much they are making. It all depends on how much they are spending. They might pay much more to their teachers and assistant teachers. They also might have big loans from the bank they have to pay back. It really all depends on the school and it's owner/director. We can charge such small amount because the owners (me and others) are really god at finding god deals. So I guess our parents benefit from it.
Good for you.
But in relation to huge debt and loans to finance as justification for huge fees......poppycock

Sure .com is best, no argument, but what i am saying if it is not available and any good .com name is gone these days.......not paying silly money for a name for something new.
What are the .com domains you are interested in?
then the secret will be out

Can we put helicopters up ?

There are a few – not many admittedly – companies who will insure you after age 65/70 for life. In fact one which is Thai based can be started > 80 years and can even cover pre-existing conditions ! However these are obviously not cheap but we shall be happy to offer individual quotations if anyone is interested ?
Give us a ball park...
-
Strawberry yoghurt would look good firing out...would have to get that on camera.
-
Anyone know what the insurance premiums hike up to if you are with a company that keeps you on after 65/70yo ?
-
Oh and by the way....most of the attendees...the ones walking...wore sandals or thongs....several not in black too......
just sayin

I went to a funeral recently where they poured petrol on the stiff to fire him up.
Bet he'll be back as a petrol head or such..

I would just leave/enter thailand on your thai passport. You have no further need to reenter on your Oz passport, and if anyone stops you on the street here, show them the thai passport.
Look up wiki dual nationality. You're dealing with two sets of laws, oz and thai. Oz permits dual nationality, but thailand does not, but its not enforceable.
In saudi arabia and other countries, it is a criminal offence to hold a second nationality, but in thailand it is not. It is just "not allowed"
just make sure you keep your oz passport out of sight while you're in thailand.
Did you even read any of this ?
So much poppy cock in there afghans might come and get some of it.

I have a hard time buying this story about a computer malfunction....
I am fairly positive that the door opening system on the Siemens cars
would have an extensive set of interlock systems such that the door
CANNOT be opened unless the train is at the proper spot at the station.
There is not way in the world that the system would be set up in such a way
that the engineer could punch a button any time he wanted and open the doors when the train is not at the station.
I am positive this has to be one of the Chinese cars, a country where the word safety is an alien word... I found it interesting that the BTS in its press release did not indicate which car it was. They may be feeling a bit embarrassed at this point...
In an emergency....why would/should the only official kinda person on board...not be able to immediately open doors for people to escape ??

Its not a short snappy name no....but it is useful for what I want it for and has a ring to it for that reason only.
Tried to offer $50 through the auction thingy....but would not let you offer less than their bottom line amount of 500......and as you stated....no interest in it, so not a screaming success crying out to be bought...so I do not wish to pay anything to much for it.
