I think it is indeed a sorry state that this woman (and others) can display this level of ignorance and insensitivity. Truely a indication on the Thai educational system, or lack there of. Hang in there and best wishes to you and your family. I don't think you will be able to change her, as she has a lifetime of being ingnorant. Good Luck!

A couple years ago I had to get a Typhoid and Hep A vaccine. I was able to get them Udon Thani with no problems. I had to go to a large hospital to get it. I did have to talk to a doctor who asked why I wanted it. I told he it was for my job, and I got them no problem. Don't remember how much I payed, but it was very cheap compared to western countries. You should have no problems in Bangkok. I would ask at Bumrungrand (Spelling?) Hospital. Lots of Falangs go there. I don't think you will have any problems.

I don't have any experience in matters like this. It sounds like you need expert help. I would recommend you find a good lawyer for professional legal advice. Thai laws, as you probable know, can be tricky. Get a lawyer. Protect your self and good luck.

This is a very difficult situation. Sounds like he needs some professional help. You might want to consider getting him some professional mental help, for the child. Teen age years are very difficult years. Get him some help. A psychologist can help you and him cope with many of life's problems. If you don't know where to go, talk to a medical doctor in a major hospital, they should be able to streer you in the right direction. But hurry, don't wait untill he kills someone. I'm sorry Britmavric, that is simply not true. I routinely fly BKK to LAX. Travelers, by law, HAVE to clear customs at LAX regardless of your final destination. I did it less then 30 days ago. It is a pain in the a$$ at LAX. Imigration lines there are usually very long there. Good luck.

The last box I sent via Global priority, took 5 days to reach bangkok, then another 87days to clear customs. It was a voltage converter. In the past, I have received boxes in as little as 9 days. You just never know. Roll the dice and take your chances. Good luck!
