An additional fee will be applied to passengers who exceed the limit.
This is why airlines have been a bad investment. They always use a stick instead of a carrot. They need to set the weight limit and discount light weights as well as have an added fee depending on the total weight.

Very intrusive. I think I would start saying NO to the airlines who engage in this policy. See ya!
If they are going to do this they need to give us light weights free extra baggage as now with AI they have the data to figure out a 250 lb gal is bring 100lbs more on board that I am. ⚖️ Only fare if its weight vs fuel consumption. Or discount my ticket

The recent diplomatic rendezvous of Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin with Russian President Vladimir Putin and subsequent engagements in Beijing delineates a concerning trajectory for a nation that has freshly emerged from the shadows of a military junta.

Why don't you stop all motor bike sales and really make a dent in the death toll in Thailand?

"Tax resident" and their definition of same may be the key here.
In Thailand, an individual is considered a tax resident if they have lived in the country for at least 180 days or more in a year1. Such residents are liable to pay tax on income from sources in Thailand as well as foreign sources brought into Thailand1. Non-tax residents are subject to tax only on Thai-sourced income1.

It's about time, but they need to say something like 275lbs including bags are free( ticket price). So someone who weighs 150lbs has 125lbs of baggage allowance. If they don't do that they are just screwing everyone- oh that is what the airlines are good at.

By becoming a major player in the space economy within the Asia-Pacific region, Thailand aims to position itself as a prominent contender in the rapidly expanding space industry.
I can tell you where you can put that feasibility study. They can't control Pattaya's car racing, or traffic laws in general and they expect the world to trust them with space travel?

Only the lending institutions (ie banks) can correct the situation over time by tightening their lending rules.
Not ONLY - whoever is artificially keeping the baht strong is also at fault. a baht at 40 USD or more would bring more tourists and help exports. It's the economy stupid. Oh! a little practical budgeting education would be helpful- but that's true all over the world. And the small middle class is also a problem.
