  1. Everybody knows what's next for Greece - exactly what was before.

Nothing has changed, except that the debt has increased.

Not only Tsipras is a Commy, not only he is a National traitor (aren't they all?)

But this time a big chunk of Greece's National Assets will be given away at the end-spiel.

    Wonder what is his 'cut'?

INMH and if I were a Greek i I would say: "Let it happen here and now". Why wait for future turns and twists?

i would put my pension on you crying if you were a greek, being asset raped by those vile unelected filth in the eu...tsipras has been pm for 6 months this has been going on for years he was voted in ..dont you like democratic results they did invent it after all.......

  2. If the Greek government vote yes on this deal they will have sold their country to the EU. They will have to put 50billion of state assets into a fund the EU will control, then privatise these assets and use 50% of the sales to pay off debt. the other 50% for Greece to reinvest.

I really hope they vote against, because this will end badly which ever way it goes. Just delaying the inevitable, IMO.

Interesting to see if Tsipras is still PM come Wednesday?

The Greeks have been living on borrowed money for years...

I think you would be sore if you gave someone money so they could feed themselves only to see buying lobster, fine wine and them partying out on on it.

Do you not think it right for a lender to ask for some tangible assets as security against the money lent?

So you think the Greek people have been dinning on Lobster and fine wines these past five years? This deal is worse than the deal Tsipras had a referendum over. I guess we will have to wait to see if the Greek government accept the deal!

The point is the Euro is dead, this whole fiasco has shown the Euro is not here for ever. The reality is The EU should not lend any more money to Greece. Next expect Portugal and Spains economy to be tested. But I wonder where the money will come from when the next southern EU nation needs bailing out? This isn't over by a long shot.

Does Germany really want to pay for all these bailouts?

germany should pay for there wanting to dominate europe again...merkel has got some gaul to go on at greece about money..germany had most of its war debt cancelled to rebuild but lets not let the truth get in the way of greeces misery eh..thumbsup.gif

  3. So, the EU is going to loan Greece more money to pay off the loans that they cannot pay off now. When these new loan payments are due we will see a repeat of the current mess. This is just throwing good money after bad.

The leaders of the EU must know this as well, they are either leaving this problem to their successors or they have decided to eternally support Greece's finances just to keep them in the EU.

this money is to pay german/french banks only 8% goes to the public..12% to investment..greece has been raped in full view of the cameras discraceful behavior .........ukip for me..

  4. His encounter with the dog ended up with him kicking and then stabbing the dog.

It was not made clear if the dog was attacking the Russian at the time or not.

    Not made clear cheesy.gifcheesy.gif

    My view:

A pitbull rerrier. what a "nice little puppie"!

This bad Russian man killed the nice little puppie rolleyes.gif

    Encounter with the dog:

It just wanted to lick his foot wink.png

One of these lying Thai crooks wanting to pressure some money from the farang for oneselfs reckless behavior (walking a fighting dog without a rope and a muzzle).

Two of these monsters almost killed one my peaceful dogs while walking past a house.

I hit them with a thick bamboo stick as hard as I could. It broke,

You can't stop these killers, except with a bullet or a knife.

every dog has the ability to kill like humans...people keep forgetting about the sh-ite owners who neither give love or train these beautiful creatures ...lets not keep blaming the dogs my pitbull winstonc..is almost (duke of kent) hes a baby at 3 n half years old...

  5. Bugger the politics. Bugger the EU Banks. Bugger the Greek Government.

My question is for every poster here on TV:

" Would you let any more of your own money to Greece?"

Any answer 'yes' or 'no' supply with a reason good for you only. Thank you. wai2.gif

why not you dont know where any of your tax goes anyway..they take it they spend it and you are none the wiser..good luck greece i say shaft this vile eu for every penny you can.

  6. "The top and bottom of it is that Syriza know that if they accept STRICTER austerity, then elections will be demanded, Tsipras will be gone and Syrize will never ever be elected again seeing as they have only an anti-austerity ticket. That is suicide that they would never consider. So I am afraid you are miles off the mark."

The Greek press seems to think that Tsipras can marshall enough of the opposition MP votes to pass another bailout even if his own party revolts. Will be interesting to watch.
I don't think the EU (read: Germany, Netherlands, Malta) will sign up to debt relief this time around but may promise to "discuss" it in the future.

greece has won this hands down im loving those germans another surrender in the offing lets whatch with a huge smile the collapse of the eu..bring it on

  7. I just wonder where all the money went, especially before they give them anymore loans.

    regards Worgeordie

    It went in large part directly to the greek citizens. Here's where and how;

    - national pensions and social benefit payments significantly greater than what the contributions justified

    - Hospitals and health care delivery

    - Infrastructure such as highways, and water lines

    - Preservation and restoration of "national monuments"

    - Payment of higher than justified salaries for the bloated Greek civil service and government.

    - Subsidies to greek farmers

The large payments were required because Greeks don't pay their taxes. This is the biggest irritant to the EU countries Greek demands bail it out. The Greeks expect others to pay for the Greeks easy lives, without the Greeks contributing.

wrong it went on repaying previous loans..the spiral has not stopped try looking at the bankers you may learn something nasty..to you palate..

  8. It is NOT up to Greece to come up with the solution. It is up to the troika.

It was the troika's plans of even more austerity that was rejected, So it is up to the troika to table a different one.

The referendum was basically a statement to ther troika that the people of Greece do not accept you offer and its conditions, so come back with something different.

The EU and the trioka have no intention of backing down at all and wants to destroy Greece because they do not like the Syriza government. They may have already brought dowen governments in other countries and they did it to Greece a few years ago, and they do not like it when the people bite back.

Basically the EU attitude is "If we can not control you as our puppet, then we don't want you at all".

The world is weatching and more importantly, they know exactly what is going on.

So if you can get easy access to credit cars, mortgage and cars on monthly payments, and fail to pay back because you loose your job, its the responsibility of the lenders to come up with solutions? The Greeks should look in the mirror and realize they have, together, created a corrupt society that lives above its means.

What are you suggesting? Your response is beyond beggars believe.

Once a week over the past 5 years three people fly into Athens, which are representitives of the three lenders, the IMF, The EC and the ECB. Their job is to tell the Greek finance minister what they have to do for the next week. Which Greece has complied with to the letter.

So the lenders are basically running Greece's economy.

When YOU take out a bank loan or buy a car on credit, do the bank run your entire finances??????

I put it to YOU, that it is YOUR response that beggars belief, but I will accept you are innocently ignorant of the true situation.

It is because the 5 years of troika conditions and meddling in Greec's economics has FAILED spectacularly, then they are asking for even more damaging controls.... You have to ask yourself who needs to be coming to the table with better proposals. Greece have already given plenty of ground and proposals which are summarily rejected out of hand.

Tsipras has already moved some way, it is the troika who need to move now.

Pathetic again. Ask the rich Greeks what they have done with their money. How many billions are stashed in Switzerland? How much cash in is their hands? The insolvency of the Greek banks is because the Greeks did a bankrun. The Greeks are very good in blaming others for their own mischief and YOU do the same.

The austerity measures were agreed upon by the previous Greek governments. The Greek economy didn't fail because of the Troika, it failed because the under performing, corrupt, tax avoiding, inefficient Greek society. But its easier to blame other nations and take the money of their tax payers. You should take an example of the Baltic states who have had the balls to climb out of there situation. But no, the whole world is against the Greeks.

Pay up or Grexit and a one way ticket to the stone age.

one way ticket to the stoneage hahahahaha the vile people in the eu would love to subjugate all euro countries for there dream dictatorship oh and look whose at the helm of this huge ship germany....they wont let greece sink its a case of who blinks first try to understand whats really going on ..reading robert peston on hys on the bbc is not real insight its pro-eu propaganda

no it beggars belief that you think its all greeces fault the whole eu is corrupt every single country in it you just dont like democracy and what it entails, the people have spoken ..get used to it or move to north korea the eu would love that model ...complete control of nations..
